No doubt. Like everybody else I clowned on him during Bron's 1st year in Miami, but he's honestly one of the best in the league. A lot of this depends on Bosh though, hearing a lot of different things on when/if he can come back this year. I'm not gonna be too hard on Cleveland, they have won 50 games after all. I just don't think Kyrie & Love are ready for the bright lights, which is why I thought Lebron's best shot at more rings was in Miami. Miami & Chicago are the only ones capable of beating the Cavs IMO.

He's one of the best coaches in the league in terms of getting players to buy into that "team" mentality. Credit also goes to Riley for bringing in blue collar guys, but every Heat team looks like they're having so much fun together, especially this year. He's also great at situational stuff and picking matchups. In a way, it's nice that LeBron left because Spo can finally get some of the recognition he deserves.
Yeah hopefully Bosh will be okay. He was having a great season too, which s----d, but small ball is Miami's calling. Wouldn't mind seeing him playing it safe and sitting it out tho. Back in the early 2000s when Zo was injured that one year, he came back for a playoff run and the team was dysfunctional as f---. Same with Wade and the Heat getting swept by the Bulls like 8-9 years ago or something like that. I don't want the same thing to happen to this team.
Yeah LeBron's best chance at a ring was clearly staying in Miami, which was why I was so confused when he decided to go back to Cleveland. He really wanted to do it for his home, which I guess I could respect.

Yo @NBAsxn this is a great read if you have the time. I'd post the entire thing but it was way too elaborate & detailed to copy & paste.

If he wanted to do it for his his hometown he should have stayed when he was still young & in his prime, then chase rings now as he's getting older.

Took some time but well worth the read, always knew they were good friends but didn't know they were that close. I always felt Melo had it unfair, in terms of being compared to Lebron and the 2003 draft class, but i guess he did that to himself with some of the decisions he made. Im also glad to see him getting the props he deserves this season (I know they're 15 games below .500). In my opinion I think this is one of Melo's best years, obviously his numbers are down in areas of scoring, where he usually shines the most, but watching him play this season there's undoubtedly growth in his game. I can't see all of them on one team, but I do feel like Lebron is gonna make a move, i just don't know where. I would also love to see Melo get a ring, preferably in NY.

Just imagine how different we'd view Melo if he'd been drafted by Detroit. Their lineup would be Billips, Rip, Melo, Sheed, and Ben. That's deadly, not to mention the leadership and the chance to be coached by Larry Brown. I've always loved Melo & his game and will probably never forgive him for passing on Chicago, but the league is better with him in the playoffs.

Tbh I never even realized Melo to detroit was a possibility until i read this article, but looking back on it, that could've been a dynasty. No one in the east had nearly a good enough team to get pass them during those years. Would've been an easy trip to finals for several years. As a NBA fan, i can see why people are upset that he didn't go to chicago, but as Knick fan im glad he stayed. Nothing will top Melo bringing a ring back to NY. That would probably be one of the greatest days of my life if it happens.

Yeah I think he said something like 1 in NY means more than multiple rings anywhere else. I really respect that, but lately he's been complaining about their progress and I just think, dude you had a great chance last off season to change your future and you messed up AGAIN. Also, if Melo is in Detroit, no way Bron ever gets past them in the playoffs.

I really don't expect Melo to ever get a ring at this point, not trying to hate but just how I see it. A lot of good young teams on the rise (Knicks sort of in that category but others have a brighter future I think) plus the Spurs and Warriors won't be going away anytime soon, Thunder will still be in the mix if they keep Durant.

Awesome man, have fun. Yeah should be a ton of Kobe and Lakers fans, they hate him here in Portland and it was still at least half cheers all game for him during his last visit, lots of chants too lol.

It's not going to be the same when Kobe retires but I'll guess they'll be new cats to take his place.

Anybody got a way for me to look into the history of the NBA? An easy way so I can get up to speed on everything that happened?

Horrible, just horrible. Oh yeah, I'm keeping my $100 they didn't even think to step inside the paint at all, played outside and the problem with that is none of them can s---t.

I'm dying though, Covington could've had an easy dunk on the fastbreak but went right to take a 3pt and failed miserably.
