Probably close to max(if that Noah 4 years/120 hypothetical is any indicator). I doubt the Celtics could even get him if they wanted too lol. He'll probably go home to Atlanta or blow up the Knicks(plzplzplz).

I have a feeling the Celtics are gonna whiff in FA and end up giving out more of the Amir/Jerebko contracts. Overpay for a 1/1 with the 2nd year being a team option. Their should be suitors as the cap jumps again in 17-18, hopefully they get someone who can s---t this time. Probably end up being someone like Nene though lol.

I have no interest in overpaying someone like Barnes, Batum, Fournier, Anderson or any of the mid tier FA's. Leave your flexibility open for next year.

I believe the Wiz (rightly so) backed off of that offer.

Also I wouldn't worry about Barnes, I have a feeling GarPax are gonna max him.

I think Barnes could really end up being a bust if he goes to a bad team, seems like the kind of player that can be a good 4th or 5th option or so on a good team but won't be able to lead a team anywhere as the #1 or #2 guy. Plus he totally disappeared in the finals, if he put up even his average numbers the Warriors probably win that series..Then again I guess you could say the same for Klay and Curry in that regard.

I'm sure he'll have his pick of 5 or 6 teams who are willing to throw the max at him. Almost every team in the league has room for a max and a lot of teams have room for 2.

Nic Batum may be interested in the Lakers reportedly, I didn't like him when he was with the Blazers cuz he was very inconsistent but he's got better with that in the last year or so.

If the Lakers could get him+someone like Horford or Whiteside that'd be a good offseason I think.

Hope Batum isn't a max level guy but he probably will be with all the money teams have.

Ray and KG were both trades. KG had 2 years left on his 5 year $100 M contract and the Celtics added 3 years $60 M on top of that.

Past his prime Dominique was probably their biggest FA signing
