    I only saw the 1st quarter but supposedly KAT didn't even defend Embiid.

    We got smashed, we're a fair bit behind the Wolves in rebuilding plus we got Simmons and Noel injured. Next time won't be so easy.

    Lakers got the Spurs tonight, I'm pretty worried to say the least lol..Could be an ugly beatdown, but I'd love if they could stay competitive and maybe even somehow get the W. I know they beat the warriors, but I feel that's a better matchup for them, and the Spurs could just flat out k--- the Lakers if they take advantage of all their mistakes and inexperience.

    I just hope it's not over by halftime at least, Lakers haven't played their best these last 2 games. Need to bounce back with a better performance even if they lose.

    Doesn't really have a choice tbh with how Restricted Free Agency works, he'll be in Minnesota at least 6 more years.

    Idk Lakers are playing solid and the Spurs have already lost 3 games.
    More free agents gotta do what Lebron & Wade did and sign 3 year extensions coming off their rookie deals instead of 5. Enter UFA 25-26 and it puts a little more pressure on your current team to keep improving. I understand guys who are eligible for the Rose Rule taking the 5 but not sure why anyone else not on a contending team would (Anthony Davis for example).

    This quote's like a year and a half old now, but yeah sounds like Wiggins doesn't want to leave Minnesota anyways. They got a good young core and coach to build with.

    Lakers have been solid overall this year, I agree..But the last 2 games haven't been their best at least not as a team, although last game Russell and Randle both went off. But last 2 games they barely beat the nets at home, and then before that got destroyed by the timberwolves on the road. But yeah it's hard to say how Lakers/Spurs will go tbh, but I don't know, an elite team with so much experience/great coaching like the Spurs just worries me against this Lakers team with new players, new coach, new system, etc. We'll see though, Lakers are competitive every game(cept that twolves game), should be good hopefully.

    Lakers might end up making the playoffs honestly.

    So many games on tonight, Dubs/Celtics prolly the one I'm most excited for.

    @Poohdini I think this next stretch for the Lakers could show how good their chances are for the playoffs. They got the spurs, bulls, thunder, warriors twice in a row, the hawks and then 5 of the next 6 after that on the road, good time to prove themselves. I also feel like Minnesota and Utah, and even Portland are kinda underachieving so far, so it's tough to say how things will look in a month or 2.

    But yeah I definitely think they have a better chance than I expected at the start of the season.

    Should be a blowout without Crowder and Horford (even if Horford plays, hes a GTD). I know they the C's play GS well and even beat them without Crowder in April, but they had Turner still and Sullinger (never thought i'd miss him, but the Olynyk/Amir/Zeller trio of bigs are soft as s--- and can't rebound). Marcus Smart is probably gonna be guarding Durant and will be shooting over him the entire night.

    Yea he got the concussion in practice a couple days before that 2nd Celtics/Bulls game and then Crowder got hurt in the first half of that game.

    Much less excited about the game now. Although I guess the positive is this will give Calderon and Huertas some chances to play decent minutes, they're both capable PGs and haven't played much this season so far.
