Danny Ainge is the best GM in the league lol. Turning Thornton and a late 1st(in a draft where they had 4 picks) is huge. He basically got Tyler Zeller and Isiah Thomas by making room for Lebron in Cleveland lol.

I dont love Thomas, but hes not on a back breaking contract and could eventually be used as another trade piece for an all star caliber guy. Celtics needed someone who can score more consistently then a guy like Thornton.

Course news of Sullinger's yearly injury comes today as well, but they have an easy schedule the rest of February + Sunshine will be back on this trip.

Officially off the tank wagon now, just not realistic any more.

Thad can opt-out after this year and even if he didn't opt-out (he probably would) he'd be on the books for 9.7 mil which is way too much. Wolves only pushed hard for him because they thought they'd contend this year, obviously that's not the case. Opens up the floor a bit for the young core they have to play more and KG is still a decent role-player at this point so I guess why not add him...

Hate to give up Thomas Robinson. Dudes a stud that brought it whenever he got minutes. Just needs to slow down a notch. I think he had a good structure around him in Portland, and I have a bad feeling hes going to go downhill from here. Hope he proves me wrong tho and uses this great, new opportunity to blossom.
Would really like to see him re-sign this summer as a f/a

Yup, both Goran and Zoran Dragic are on Miami. They received Danny Granger.

Philly is pathetic, think the Maine Red Claws are a better team TBH.

Gonna laugh when Embiid turns into Oden and they miss on the top pick again.

Guy isn't nearly good enough of a player to be in a position to be demanding a roster spot for his brother, Heat are such whores they have no chance this year or in any coming years with or without him

Don't see how any one can say the Sixers made a bad choice. KJ McDaniels was going to walk at the end of the year any way and he only looked above average because he was playing we a bunch of D leaguers, and MCW can't s---t to save his life or play D at all. His stats were so inflated because he was the only guy on the team that could get to the rim for the most part.

MCW isnt built to take 15 shots a game. Dude is a distributor who CAN get to the basket. Obviously hes gonna have trouble when they need him to be the #1 scoring option. Sure his PPG are inflated but his FG% and Assist numbers are deflated.

I dont get dealing off one of the only promising young guys you have for a likely late lottery pick next year (Lakers will pick top 5 this year and if they dont, thats where all the talent is in this years draft). Surround the guy with some actual talent and you'll see what type of player he actually is. This move was a lateral one for Philly, especially since ive been hearing bad things about Embiid's weight/work ethic.

When your "young core" is a bunch of players who havent been picked/stepped on the floor(Embiid/Saric) then you are in for a long rebuild. Noel is probably the only guy on that team that will be there 5 years down the road.

Missed most of the game but Spurs/Clippers is close late in the 4th, Deandre Jordan's taken 28 free throws so far, Spurs are fouling him on purpose lol. He's 10/28 at the line with about 5 minutes left.

Van Gundy was talking about it during a Clippers game a few weeks ago, how it's weird as f--- that that's legal. Such a boring/lame strategy.

I really hate the hack-a-*INSERTNAME*. Its very boring to watch when the end of the game is just free throws for 5 mins

Was hoping the Clippers would slip with Blake out, but they've actually looked better w/o him outside that OKC game.

It should be treated just like flopping (if flopping was better enforced), the NBA really needs to update its rules to get rid of these awful loopholes because they slow down the game incredibly
