Let's be real though that Philly team wasn't that bad, didn't Dikembe win DPOY that year?

    Speaking of Allen Iverson...

If you've ever dreamed of a world in which NBA Hall of Famer and Philadelphia 76ers legend Allen Iverson serves as a player-coach, you're in luck.

According to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski, Iverson has agreed to a dual role as a player and head coach in the BIG3 three-on-three league that is slated to make its debut this summer.

The league confirmed the news with a post on Twitter:

Iverson will be joined by eight other retired NBA stars, each of whom will lead a team in a player-coach capacity. The other participants who have signed on include Chauncey Billups, Rashard Lewis, Kenyon Martin, Jermaine O'Neal, Stephen Jackson, Bonzi Wells and Jason Williams.

On Dec. 23, Wojnarowski reported Roger Mason, the National Basketball Players Association's deputy executive director, was leaving his post to serve as the commissioner and president of a three-on-three league venture with rapper and actor Ice Cube.

"I thought of this concept as a fan who got sick of seeing his heroes retire and not play anymore," Ice Cube told Wojnarowski. "A lot of these guys can still play once they retire—just not the back-to-backs or four games in five nights."

The BIG3 is expected to tip off in late June, at which point the half-court promotion will begin a tour across America that spans approximately 10 weeks.

According to Wojnarowski, each team will have five players. Team captains will reportedly first choose a co-captain from a pre-selected pool of players before the remainder of the rosters are hashed out through a draft.

All these dudes gonna be so out of shape but I'll check it out regardless.

@kanyesucksdealwithit that boy Pooh back in the starting lineup, probably time to sell the team if they lose to the Sixers tonight.

People always give Bron so much credit for leading that s-----y Cavs team to the finals yet people ignore that AI did it with maybe an even worse roster.

Honestly though the east has been so bad almost every season outside of 1-2 teams each year, that a lot of those elite players in their prime (Bron, AI, Kobe, Durant, etc) probably could've done the same in the east. Both those teams, the cavs and sixers got smoked once they played some real competition in the finals. Still though, that doesn't take away from the load AI and Bron had on their shoulders in those situations to at least give their team a shot.

A lot of the difference is LeBron was 22 years old and still put up pretty decent numbers in that finals. (although for his standards... 22p/7a/7r was average af)

And LeBron's roster was definitely worse... A lot of ppl don't realize Dikembo was an animal in that series putting up 17p/12r/2b against Shaq.

You're final point was spot on tho. Crazy how AI and Bron could do something that incredible, AI even got a game from the Lakers.

I don't know @Big Mitch , shooting 35% for a series and turning it over 23 times in 4 games aren't good Bron numbers to me even considering the circumstances (how young he was, plus facing an elite spurs team.)

Apparently the Lakers are interested in Nerlens Noel. I'd assume Ingram and Randle are off the table. Clarkson would be hard to get too. I'd rather us part ways with Jah rather Noel.

Also, Embiid just walked into the locker room with an injury.............
