    i watched penny and grant hill deteriorate before my eyes as a kid then seen tmac follow suit as a teenager and now drose. :sad2:

    I was telling people during the wizards impressive first half of the season I don't want to get my hopes up..it's the wizards after all, someone was bound to break a leg or bring an ak47 into the locker room..their descent has begun, hoping they snap the f--- out of this and start stringing some wins together

    watched the Grantland Basketball hour with the mamba. Loved how open he was to all the questions. Definitely interested in watching the documentary if I get a chance.

    Honestly lost a lot of respect for D Rose when I found out about the Memphis allegations and stuff and I've always rooted against him since I'm a diehard heat fan, but that does have to s---. I broke my femur one time and that was bad enough to come back from so I can't imagine what he's going through. I think it's time for the Bulls to finally move on tho and find a plan b because Rose can't stay on the court. Reminds me of Penny Hardaway's situation a little.

    He will be back. Thibs said the original surgery on the meniscus didn't hold, and they knew this could be a possibility last year. I have no idea what kind of surgery he is going to get, or the time table, but this isn't a death sentence for his career like another ACL tear would have been. If he chooses to remove it, CP3 & D Wade are just a couple of examples of guys playing without their meniscus. He plays his heart out and is the leader of this team. Like I said, he will be back, but in the meantime, expect Jimmy Butler to get back into the MVP conversation like he was earlier in the year when Rose was in and out of the lineup.

    I was gonna like this post but then couldn't with that last sentence. But yeah I saw it too, it was very good I thought, documentary will probably be even better.

    Watching KG's return to Minnesota now, then leaving to go to the Spurs/Blazers game in about an hour. Glad I get to see these Spurs before they retire, hope they play well tonight.
