    its so much more unpredictable than the NBA. basketball is my 2nd favorite sport without a doubt but i'll take the NFL over NBA.

    Jesus, @redsoxx must be disgusted with this celtics D right now, Myers Leonard (who even blazers fans basically admit is a bum) posterized the C's TWICE already in the 1st half.

    Welp getting on the floor didn't happen. Forgot that not only was Vonleh from Mass. but they also have Shabazz Napier and Jake Layman as well. Was like a thousand ppl after that game watching Mclovin play 1 on 1 with the little kid from Black-Ish. Mclovin to the surprise of nobody was awful lol.

    Awful game for the C's though, Isaiah still got his 40 + but they are starting to miss Bradley now. Injuries have been ridiculous this year. Still no excuse to lose to Portland who just played last night.

    You can't compare the NFL to the NBA considering the NFL is a single elimination playoff. Even then, it's the same f---in guys every year. Brady, Big Ben, Manning, Rodgers.... With the occasional outliers like the Ravens, or in the NBA the Mavs in 2011. The parity might be there in the regular season, but it's still the same guys at the end, just like the NBA.

    That 4 teams doesn't seem like a lot of parity, but when you compare it to just being between the Warriors and the Cavs, it's a lot more interesting. Plus the regular season matters too. Why would I want to watch, let's say, any other game that doesn't involve the Spurs, Warriors, Cavs playing each other (excluding your team you root for). Like why would I want to watch a Celtics vs. Clippers game? Both great teams, but it's irrelevant because 1) they won't be around in the end 2) an 82 game schedule makes games way less important compared to 16 games in the NFL where every week matters

    Another difference between the NBA and NFL is the elite teams in the NBA really have no reason to give a f--- about the regular season, it's a joke to them...like why should the cavs and warriors care? They know they're in the playoffs as a 1 or 2 seed. If it comes down to it, they can win a game 7 on the road if they need to.

    In the NFL, the elite teams still need to win games basically until week 15 or 16 at least.

    Parity is the worst in the NBA, best probably in the NHL imo.

    This year is the only year that it's like that, and you never know with these offenses this season. I could see Houston or San Antonio stealing a series against GS. Last year a ton of people still thought the Spurs could beat the Warriors, and the Thunder definitely should've.
