Duncan and Kobe are the 2 best of their generation, Kobe certainly made a bigger global impact if that matters.

Not really a wrong answer but I'd definitely lean in Kobes favor. Duncan was fortunate to be in the same system with the same coach his entire career, he was also surrounded by talented players his whole career. He never really had to carry a team every night the way Kobe did, partly cuz the Spurs system favors team play but also cuz he always had talent around him as I said.

They both dominated their eras, crazy to think if one of them didn't exist then the other could have easily won 8+ rings.. They took titles from each other for sure.

Kobe only really had to carry his team in that 05-06-07 seasons besides that he went from shaq to pau and Odom and Bynum

The talent difference between there respective teams was never large

They about to ruin him and then trade him in the next year or so. He's from my country so I know what this dude is capable of. He just need playing time to grow.

Yes it was lol, in the years you mentioned and I'd argue about 4-5 other seasons as well. Also Odom and Bynum are both 'play when I wanna play' type guys, both had good stretches but were far from consistent.

Not exactly the same as playing with Parker, Manu, a GOAT coach and great role players your whole career.. Builds chemistry if you're with the same guys too.

But yeah I'm not underrating Duncan, I know how great he was.

Dude Ross is actually so bad. Hes one of the most inconsistent shooters ive ever seen. He will be outstanding one game and be cold for the next 5 games. The only exception to this was the beginning of this season. But he is cold once again.

I'm not sure work ethic is the right word. Maybe you see Kobe and MJ busting their a--- off on court more but who are we to compare how hard they work off the court when we dont really know.

I know LeBron is genetically gifted but I imagine that he puts an insane amount of time and effort into getting himself in the best physical condition.

Kobe played with shaq bruh that takes away those crap mid 00s years imo duncan never had a shaq never even the david robinson years he still aint shaq and pau is a hall of famer arguably had better careers than manu and parker and basically imo a better player. Phil jackson aint a scrub bruh stop looking at this thru kobe colored glasses the talent was arguably the same in the grand scheme of things

No, work ethic's the right word... Look into it if you want, Kobe has arguably the GOAT work ethic and anyone who's ever worked with him backs that up, so many stories out there and no one who's worked with him questions this..

Like I just said even Phil said his was better than MJs.

I'm not just assuming he had a great work ethic cuz that face he made on the court when he got angry, if thats what you're implying.

Surprised you guys haven't heard about his work ethic, thought it was fairly well known by now.
