I joke about the Celtics and old school s--- but Magic and Bird do get overlooked a lot.

I still think Magic is the second best of all time, and I think LeBron is better than Bird, but it's a lot closer than people realize.

LeBron kinda cemented it for me, the last two years. But, I'm still not putting LeBron over Jordan, Magic or Kobe yet though.

And as a Celtic fan, I just publicly admitted to Magic, Kobe and LeBron being better than Bird so y'all can s--- a d-ck.

Can't go there yet. I think he'll eventually be better, but LeBron has only shown this killer instinct trait maybe 4 years out of his entire career. Kobe, Magic, MJ and even Bird had it their whole careers. Bird just didn't have nearly the athleticism of any of them.

The first time LeBron ever really showed that was game 6 ecf against my Celtics. Before that though, Kobe scared me way more

So killer instinct is what's keeping LeBron from passing Kobe? Really? Kobe wasn't some massive clutch god like people make him out to be. Yes, he's had spectacular clutch moments, as has LeBron...

Plus you can't really compare their killer instincts when LeBron is much more of a distributor late in games, always making the right play... their clutch stats aren't even that different if I'm remembering right either.. LeBron may even be better.

It's embarrassing to me that people already think it's a fact that Bron's better than both Duncan and Kobe, I wouldn't place him above either one yet. People base too much off stats nowadays. If you think he's better fine, but to say it's 'set in stone' already is ridiculous.

Kobe may be the most fundamentally skilled basketball player that ever lived, there's nothing he couldn't do especially offensively.

Duncan and Kobe>Shaq and Lebron for now, at least. I'm honestly not sure how someone could place Shaq ahead of Kobe and Duncan on an all time list, Lebron's a little more fair but still need to see how he finishes hie career.

If you go based off stats though, then I better see Wilt on your list as well. Unfortunately people are starting to underrate Kobe quite a bit the last 5 years or so, they think he's a slightly better version of Melo lol...

I'm not just basing it off stats lol. LeBron is better than Kobe. Experts will tell you the same. And idk about Kobe being the most fundamentally skilled basketball player ever. He's up there, but idk about the most.

You're saying this as a fact, that's why it disgusts me..You also said this when Bron had only 2 rings when it was an even worse argument lol.

    http://www.debate.org/opinions/is-kobe-better-than-lebron

    76% here say Kobe's better.

But whatever I don't have the energy for this, just think it's insulting you consider it a fact...but whatever m8, never really heard you say much positive about Kobe and you're a big Bron guy so it doesn't surprise me.

Coming from someone who would watch my Celtics compete against both of them for championships, LeBron never scared me. He never took over games like Kobe did. Kobe would f---ing k--- us, to the point where they'd end up with 3 guys on him and he's still hitting fadeaway 3's over us. It was f---ing irritating.

LeBron is a GREAT distributor, you're totally right, much better than Kobe or Jordan in that regard. However, in those pressure games, I knew he'd dish it off rather than take the shot or take over the game, which always favored us.

Game 6 of the 2012 ECF was my nightmare. LeBron figuring out that he could dominate a game. I said it on SL, it's LeBrons league now, he elevated to that next tier.

LeBron is the most physically gifted athlete mixed with versatility that the NBA has ever seen, next to Magic.

I would still put LeBron over Kobe with 2 rings... Even if he hadn't won in Cleveland against a 73 win Warriors team...

It's pretty much fact that LeBron is a better basketball player than Kobe Bryant. Yes, I'm saying that.

People just love creating phrases such as will to win or clutch gene to undermine LeBron's accomplishments.. I will debate anyone to the end of this, especially if someone here starts making arguments... but so far I've never seen anyone make a legit argument other than killer instinct and 5 rings which everyone knows aren't strong.

Kobe is more skilled from a basketball point of view, no question. Bron has the physical edge.

And I know I said I'm not just using stats, but they're not something u can just completely ignore or weigh lightly. LeBron has such a clear edge in stats that if you weigh that in with everything else it's pretty impossible to put Kobe over him at this point.

LeBron being a better team player and person killed him in playoff series. Like I hate saying that, because he made right decisions, but sometimes, being a complete ball hog is what's best for your team. LeBron should be missing the big shot, not Mo Lewis or DeLonte West.

As a Celtic fan, I loved it.
