    Risky move for the Pelicans, Cousins is probably just gonna walk after next season and not like the Pelicans are competing for a title anyways.

    Certainly not the trade I would have expected.

    The Pelicans are sending guards Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans and Langston Galloway, and 2017 first- and second-round picks to the Kings as part of the deal, league sources said, with forward Omri Casspi going to the Kings.

    You know what pissed me off too they'll buy out Tyreke so they can tank when really the man should play. Essentially giving up Cousins for a late lotto pick and Buddy Hield. What a s--- show.

    You couldn't call up Boston and say here's Cousins give me a BKN pick and whatever garbage you don't need?

    I've felt bad for the Kings all my life. So many times the door gets slammed in their face. Tyreke gets worse after his rookie season, they let go of Hassan Whiteside so early, draft Jimmer Fredette, Thomas Robinson and Ben McLemore, go through almost 10 head coaches, almost get moved to Anaheim and bought out by Seattle. Tragic s---.

    Thought that was Chicago?

    Lakers aren't contenders now or anytime soon, no reason to trade Ingram+more for someone who may not be on the team in 2 years.

    They did the right thing.

    Celtics should have got him imo, they have plenty of picks to offer too.

    Pels apparently offered almost the same deal but without Hield for Jahill Okafor lol.

    Pels probably couldn't believe it when the Kings said yes here, guess Sac wanted the 2019 pick too but Pels said no.
