I wouldn't put that much juice into one single game. The Celtics were abysmal in that game.

In the 31 games the Celtics have played with IT, Bradley, Crowder and Horford on the floor they are 24-7. None of those games have been played against Toronto.

Yea but I've never said the Celtics were beating the Cavs. I'm not even sure they get out of the 2nd round. But when he "turns it on" the Cavs will beat everyone in the East.

I'm also not sold that IT co-exists with a pure scorer like George or Butler for that matter. NM have them mesh in like a month before the playoffs. Could easily be an Iverson/Melo situation. Paul George supposedly had reservations about coming to Boston for those exact reasons, IT HAS to have the ball in his hands.

If the C's get to the ECF and they're doing the Lottery right before a Celtics/Cavs game 1 tip off (both slated for May 16th) at the Garden, then thats a huge win for the Celtics.

I'm not so sold on the whole narrative that lebron can just "turn it on" at any point and the cavs will win a championship, he can carry them on offense easy, but they are arguably the worst defense in the league, and him alone cant change that, he needs his teamates to step it up on that end of the court or their not doing anything.

Cavs have more than one more year, in contention, mainly because of LeBron, but yea that teams defense is... yikes. But, if they end up as the 2-seed, their playoff schedule becomes difficult, especially at their current level. They'd probably have to face the Pacers, followed by the Wizards, and then either Toronto/Boston. That's a pretty challenging stretch. If they're the 1 then the Wizards/Celtics would face each other before the Cavs face either one.

Im saying another year for the other teams to get stronger and load their clips while lebron not getting any younger. Teams like Wiz and celtics and even raptors, w/ improved chemistry, have the ability to grow w/ time
Teams like the cavs r tapped out unless they getting hella creative but the fact remains: 1. Bron aint getting younger 2. aint nobody scarred of a team led by kyrie and love

Again putting WAY too much stock into a game that IT and Horford were missing shots they normally make. Only way to consistently stop IT is to double him and the rest of the guys are more then capable of making you pay 4 on 3. Bradley and Crowder both s---t 40% from 3 and Horford hits them consistently as well.

The Celtics slapped the Warriors around at Oracle, but i'm not gonna pretend they wouldn't lose in fucken 3 if they met in the playoffs.

Who is talking about championship? we're talking about the East. I've been fooled by doubting Lebron too many times when they've finished 2nd in the East, to put all that much stock in the way his team looks right now.

Gotcha gotcha, I see what you're saying. I totally agree. LeBron is great but the improvement the Wizards have shown and the Celtics are putting on display (with the Celtics adding solid draft picks), it'll be interesting. But I'm more interested to see what the Spurs do. I believe this is Manu's last year (I think he said that), and Danny Green has been off for two years now shooting wise. Parker has lost a lot of quickness too. Their guard spot is intriguing going forward.

I swear this is the 3rd time I've seen Westbrook hit a clutch 3 to take it into overtime against the Magic. I'll never forget that amazing game where Westbrook and Oladipo just kept hitting them. Unfortunately for the Magic, Dipo is wearing the other jersey now
