    If i post in a thread I get a notification every time someone posts in that thread. Assumed thats how it works for everyone. Hence why I don't ever feel the need to quote anyone, especially if I'm posting right below them.

    bro i'm playing.

    you come from a top 2 sports city, you get born with a team and your emotions are tied to the success of the team without any conscious choice. your mood in the morning depends on the results from the night before. even if that team faces a decade of darkness, you can't drop the team any easier than you can drop a family member.

    i'm from edmonton, the only team i got is the oilers. for the nba: Minnesota by proximity, or toronto by country are the only teams i can manufacture any personal connection with, and both are a stretch.

    but the luxury of that is that unlike hockey, where i hate 30/31 teams, i can enjoy watching the NBA no matter what team is playing.

    i'm hype to see what ball and ingram can build. or butler/wiggins/KAT. or simmons/saric/embiid/fultz. or even boston depending on how they manage their assets.

    IDK why Herm edwards is talking basketball but I think it's pretty clear the Rockets have the best backcourt on paper.

    d---, notifications every time someone posts in this thread? That'd be annoying as f--- for me for a busy a--- thread like this, I usually just look at latest posts and see what's been active there. Then of course if i'm gone for a while I'll come back and check the usual threads I browse(basically the sports section.)

    Anyways, sounds like the Lakers are basically just looking for 1 year deals in free agency. Probably a good idea but I don't know how many good players will really jump on that, at least not early on while they have other offers.

    Lakers might just get a few bench players and then wait for next year, which I'm fine with tbh.

    I post in like 5 threads on this site lol its not bad. Its weird how it works but its not a notification for every individual post. Its just a single notification saying "___ replied to the NBA discussion, there may be more posts after this". Then if i click on the thread it starts over again the next time someone replies. I just assumed that was how it works and didn't really care enough to see if it was fixable.
