Free agency starts at midnight. Looking like Holliday back to NO on a 5 year deal. Nice player but not sure it's worth it if they're giving up 20-25 million a year. AD is a goner when his deal is up.

@Kon how do you feel about getting Lonzo Ball btw? I didn't see if you posted about him being drafted sorry if you're repeating yourself I'm just curious since you're the only laker fan ik. I enjoyed watching him in college this year, but idk if I see him becoming someone dominant in the nba anytime soon but idk a whole lot about basketball. I'm eager to see how this young team grows with him this upcoming season. I'm glad I started watching nba the last couple years of Kobe's career. Always enjoyed watching him. Any chance you see Lonzo having Kobe potenial?

Don't think my opinion on a player has ever changed so drastically in 1 season than it has with Rondo.

Would honestly have rather kept him. His 13m salary goes towards getting to the salary cap floor and all of the young guys respect the h--- out of him. He defended them when Butler & Wade lashed out and even went to the D League games when Valentine & Payne got sent down.

I just don't see anyway Hayward doesn't go to Boston. Stevens is there, and if he signs a 3 year deal he can re-up and make up for the money he would've 'lost' by leaving the Jazz's 5 year deal on the table.

Unless Riley has something crazy up his sleeve Hayward will be a Celtic IMO.

Don't really know enough about him to give a fair opinion at this point, but I'm excited. Sounds like he makes things better for his teammates, is a smart shooter(as in only shoots high percentage close shots, or 3's) and is supposed to have some leadership skills too. Beyond that I'm not really sure, hoping his defense is better than I'm hearing(at least eventually) and he doesn't end up being a disappointment.

He's got high expectations and based off what I've seen, I THINK he can handle that but I'm nowhere near sure. Gonna have to see how things go for a while, but I'm fairly optimistic..

Sucks you only saw the last couple years of Kobe's career by the way, he wasn't the same then..

According to the L.A. Times, George still telling friends that he plans to join the Lakers next summer:

According to people not authorized to speak publicly, George, a Palmdale native, is still telling friends that he intends to be a Laker in 2018.

Because of that, he knows the Lakers have little incentive to trade for him now.
