Knowing Minnesota they dont end up with Okafor/Towns though. They end up with Mudiay and hes a bust. They've been in the high lottery for years and never hit.

I remember they took Rubio and Johnny Flynn over Steph Curry and Demar Derozan.

True, they did pick Jonny Flynn over Steph Curry.

But it looks like they're gonna have the worst record so they have the best chance at a top 1 or 2 pick and it seems at least for now that everyone thinks Okafor and Towns will be 1 and 2, so it's hard to believe even they could mess that up. But it's certainly possible. I'd take Towns 1st just cuz he's a beast defensively. Maybe the NBA will knock them to 3rd though and then they'd be more likely to f--- up.

In the first round of the East, I'm most looking forward to Bulls vs. Bucks

In the first round of the West, I'm most looking forward to Rockets vs. Mavs: AKA The Showdown in Texas!

Let's see,
The East is a lot more clear cut first round, Hawks > Nets, Cavs > Celts, Bulls > Bucks, & 4/5 is closest, but probably Wizards > Raptors
The West should be fun. Warriors > Pelicans, Rockets > Mavericks, Spurs > Clippers, Grizzlies > Blazers,
What do you guys think?

Spurs/Clipper could be the most competitive series but it's also possible the Spurs destroy them if they're at their best. I don't really care about the east tbh lol, it's gonna be the cavs coming out of there, small chance of the hawks.

None of the match ups besides Spurs/Clippers really excite me much. I'm not expecting a great 1st round.

Rockets/Mavs could be okay but I don't see either team as a legit contender.

I don't like the rockets either, I wanted the spurs to be 3 seed and rockets 6 seed for that reason, but that didn't pan out. Still I think Mavs/Rockets will be close but I'm not sure if the mavs have a good enough defense to stop them. I can see the rockets losing to any second round team though.

Lol we have similar tastes, I'm rooting for the bulls there too.
& Yea I can definitely see Warriors/Spurs with Spurs > Rockets & Warriors > Grizzlies.
So then I guess the East could be Cavs/Bulls and Hawks/Wizards. The second and third rounds are hopefully going to be insane.

I remember last years first round was phenomenal. 5 out of the 8 series went to game sevens.

Dont see that happening this year, with the exception of the clippers/spurs and possibly dallas/houston
