If I was him I would. f--- what anyone thinks. GS is the perfect team for him. They play his style of ball and it offers off the court opportunities that Okc didn't.

I know IT is clutch and all too but Kyrie is another level of clutch imo, so that'll work to their advantage come playoff time. Not too many can say they hit the game winner in game 7 of an NBA finals, plus he's been pretty consistently clutch throughout the playoffs in his career, he's usually been the closer over Bron.

Ben Simmons coming into the season with no minute restrictions. Hype level is through the roof for the Sixers, not really expecting them to be great but finally gonna be able to see all these pieces come together after all these years. Still could probably squeeze away with a 7-8th seed the way the East is rn tbh

Yeah if the Sixers stay healthy I think they should be able to get a playoff spot in the east, possibly even a 5-6 seed if things go real well for them but I wouldn't expect them to be quite that high.

Rockets might have CP3, Harden and Melo?? Lol that'll be interesting, kind of a weird trio there. I'm sure they'll be good but can't see em taking down the Warriors or probably even the Spurs tbh.

Also any word on what the Rockets would potentially give up for Melo?

Which is significant. IT is definitively the worst defender in the NBA. Kyrie being a normal sized pg makes him a better player overall.

Somebody's going to have to find the 7 Dragon Balls before they can resuscitate Dwight Howard's career.

I definitely watch more ball than you. To say IT and Kyrie are the same player is wrong. Statistically they're similar on offense if you look at their basic stats. But how they score isn't. Cleveland used Kyrie in more in isolation situations where he was one of the best in the NBA. The Cs did not run much isolation for IT. He was efficient in those plays but with isolation plays the more you run the less efficient you'll become. So it fair to state that in terms of scoring Kyrie has shown he's a more capable scorer. He's a superior ISO scoring and in pnr, transition, spot up, etc he's comparable to IT.

Defensively is where you really don't have a case. Neither player is a game changer on D but IT is the worst defender in the NBA by a sizable margin. Among qualifying pgs he ranked 82 out of 82 in real +/- . When you change the search parameters to include all qualified players he ranks as #467 out of the 468 qualified players. The difference between ITs rank (467) and the 466 ranked defender is approximately the same as the difference between the 457 ranked player and the 466 ranked player. But even if you don't care for numbers just watch how Brad Stevens used IT on defense. He went out of his way to hide IT on defense. If the wizards otto or Kelly we're competent player they would have been able to exploit the fact that IT was defending them. Lastly IT is 5 9 and Kyrie is 6 3. That height difference is bigger than the height difference of Kyrie and Lebron. Just by being a normal sized pg he's going to be a better defender than IT. Put him in a system around other good defenders and with a coach that's going to put him in the best position to succeed and there's no argument you can make for IT being Kyrie equal.

Kyrie is better than IT. But not by much. Not enough to make them better than the Cavs. They put up similar numbers, IT actually averaged 3 more points a game than Kyrie. But I feel like Kyrie has a higher level of potential. Remember Boston also lost those 2 other guys too, Crowder and Zizic. How good those 2 are I really don't know though tbh I don't watch boston much

I respect Charles and what he did in the nba but complaining about the predictability of the nba isn’t fair.
