    It's insane how much of a difference there is on the floor with Embiid out there. 19-1 run since he came back in.

    U can offset bad pg defense but saying it's not very important is highly inaccurate

    PG defense is very important especially since PG is arguably the most important position in the league nowadays and a lot of the elite players are PGs.

    As it pertains to an individual player such as IT it's really not important that he be a good defender. It'll be nice but teams are able to succeed with pg's that play mediocre to average defense.

    Interior defense, defensive scheme, having versatile defenders and matchups are far more important than having any particular perimeter player be a good defensive player

    Look at the Was vs Bos series. Boston had a great scheme and versatile defender. That allowed them to hide IT on defense. Washington's Kelly and Porter either unable to consistently expose IT offense.

    isaiah is a great iso scorer too, and does it with less dribbles than kyrie

    as was the cavs defense without kyrie


    Isaiah had a substantially worse surrounding cast than kyrie did last year and was clearly the better player.

    That's not a fair comparison.

    The Celtics minus IT is a better roster than the Cavs minus Kyrie and Love.
