last night's game between pelicans and warriors = a perfect example of why you never leave the game early. warrior were down like 20 entering the 4th quarter and came back and won.

    WOW!!!!!

Yeah containing both will be hard to do. But it's getting harder to go against the Bulls when Rose and Butler are dominating (especially Rose) like they have been in this series. Let's not forget the Bucks are one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. I agree with the Celtics too, they have been playing great since the break but they just can't keep up when the Cavs have their runs at the end of games. I'm down with avy bet. Bulls push to 7 you get a Rose avy for the entire conference finals, they lose in 6 I'll switch mine up to a Celtics one.

Wait til Jimmy Buckets gets his hand on him. On a side note I feel bad for those who can't listen to Stacy King during Bulls games. GOAT color commentator.

^Thats because the NBA is all about having that ONE guy, or that Super team.

Hockey is different because your best offensive player is on the ice for like a third of the game. You also need 19 guys to make it work, while some coaches like Blatt stick to a 8 man rotation and Lebron and Kyrie are out there for 40+ mins. Making it basically impossible for a team like the C's to contain them.

Huh? You'd rather see the more predictable outcome pretty much every single time? Not like this is new for the NBA, every year at the start of the season if you were to pick out 3-4 teams who could win it all, it's always one of those teams that wins it. The only exception in the last 15-20 years is the 04 Pistons. There's 5 (at most) legit contenders a year while other teams are just fighting to win a series or 2 at best.

The NHL playoffs have again been far more exciting than the NBA playoffs, I think anyone who's a fan of both sports would say this.

No thats why hockey is awesome.

And i know you've watched very few Celtics games, but Turner has been pretty d--- good this year. Celtics wouldnt be in the playoffs w/o him. Hes not the guy who just throws up bricks because hes the only one who could score like at the end of his Philly run. Stevens has turned him around. He was very good last night actually, but you realize when Crowder isnt in the game he is guarding/being guarded by Lebron right? not the easiest task.

The NBA clearly has the least amount of parity of the 4 major American sports because its just 5 on 5. Therefore, the stars in the NBA mean more/have a bigger impact than they do in the NFL, MLB and NHL.

In football, baseball, and hockey...there are MORE players on the field---so it helps even things out. It makes it a lot harder for one player to dominate the game.

Most people I know strongly prefer college basketball and don't have much interest in the NBA anymore. Many of these people complain that the NBA is too much one on one basketball. But a lot of these people were huge NBA fans back in the 90's when it was at it's peak. Even back then, the NBA was still a star league just like it is today. When Jordan was winning those titles, they had multiple really good players on those Bulls teams--so I don't really get why everyone would all of a sudden lose interest in it. I mean, yeah, the rivalries during the 90's were obviously better. But I really don't think the game has changed that much, it's always been a star driven league.

Players are getting way softer in general now but at the same time asking for more money, that may be turning some fans away. Also being a long time fan of about 20 of the teams must be frustrating cuz you feel like your team never has a chance to actually go anywhere. The referees are also more inconsistent than any other sport.

Although I'm not gonna stop watching the NBA, I can understand why some people are sick of it.
