d---, Rondo f---in sucks..

The Dallas Mavericks got so frustrated with Rajon Rondo by the end of the season that the team made up an injury to send him to the bench and the players voted not to give him a playoff share, according to reports. The two sides have already "mutually agreed to part ways" this offseason, but now it appears that breakup was inevitable.

Rondo was benched after Game 2 of the Mavericks' first-round series against theHouston Rockets and didn't play again as Dallas was eliminated in five games. The team claimed that a back injury had sidelined Rondo indefinitely, but Tim MacMahon of ESPN Dallas reports that was simply to "save face" after the two sides decided to part ways.

Yeah I think most people called bs on that back injury when it happened. d--- shame, such a fun dude to watch a few years back. Interested to see where he ends up this summer.

Still think Lakers is the most likely option unfortunately, although I heard they aren't willing to offer him a big deal anymore with what's happened. I guess maybe it wouldn't be too bad if they get him fairly cheap on a short term deal, maybe they'd get lucky and turn his career around. I'm definitely concerned about his attitude though.

Yeah he can definitely still play. Has he lost a step? Definitely. But if he loses the attitude/ego, which I believe is unlikely, then he'll be alright averaging 10 & 10 or so on some bottom of the barrel team for the rest of his career, or h---, even overseas. He'd probably s---.

I don't know if it will definitely go 7 but it will be a great series. I feel both teams have completely different styles so it's kinda hard to predict. Grizzlies are a tough defensive team, and the Warriors can obviously explode for a ton of points on offense. But at the same time, Golden State has a good defense and Memphis has a good offense..So you're right, it should be a great series. I hope the Grizzlies get Conley back for at least most of the series cuz not having him against Curry would be a huge difference.

Yeah they played well without him tonight, but they are 100% going to need him. He'll be back soon, I think it's just a swelling issue at this point right?
But yeah, you're right, two pretty differing styles of play. Will be a very interesting series.

But I'm pumped for these great games tonight. Bulls/Bucks AND Clippers/Spurs. I think the Bulls and Spurs each finish their series', but I'm hoping for game 7's.
