Listened to/saw a lot of news coverage throughout the day after the Celtics blowout win today, and hardly any of it even mentioned the Celtics...at the very least it wasn't the top story they started with for 10 minutes, that was Bron's memory and press conference moment, oh and also how Bron is 5-0 in the last 5 series where he lost game 1 lol..

I'd be pissed if I was a Celtics player, but I guess that's good cuz that's their motivation. It's a joke though really, Bron is a non-factor in the game, they get blown out from start to finish, lose by 25 and yet he's still the entire story basically lol.

I mean I get it, but d---...it's quite annoying at times.

I don’t rule out the coaches running of that exact sequence to start the 2nd half, in the locker room after the game. Emphasizing that it’s what lost them the game after they cut it to 14 at half. Lebron plays it off like he remembers it exactly from memory.

Either that or he saw the footage quick somewhere. Would be classic Lebron tbh.

I don’t blame you lol. Celtics must have all these other East teams thinking of blowing their teams up. Not Philly, but other teams like Toronto, Wiz, Bucks (minus Giannis) etc.

I’ve seen it happen too many times to not believe Lebron goes off tomorrow and the Cavs win by like 20.

Its also interesting how both Cavs and Celtics have made the ECF without Kyrie

Irving is obviously a great player... but I cant say that the Celtics are missing him right now. Brad Stevens has them playing great basketball.

Lebron owes one of his titles to Kyrie. He’s a top 10 player in the league. You can say they didn’t need him to get this far, but to get to the next round they probably do.

If I wasn’t worried about these injuries lingering for both Hayward and Kyrie, I would say they were almost a blessing in disguise and we wouldn’t know how good Tatum or Rozier are. But with them this year I think they could have given the Warriors a series and maybe lost in 6.

Stevens has fared pretty well against the Warriors with far lesser rosters. Regular season yea, but the perimeter D is something that would translate.

Do you reckon Hayward is gonna slip right back into the starting line up when he's healthy? Tatum has certainly made a name for himself, I guess he can more to PF but he struggled against Dario when he took him to the paint.

Yea I think Hayward will start next year At 28-30 mpg to start the year. This offseason is Tatum’s time to B*** up at least a little bit, so that he can see more time at the 4.

Honestly think Brown could guard 4’s tomorrow if he needed to as well. There are a lot of combinations I can see the Celtics going with, especially if Smart is back. But I expect Tatum to still get big mins.

This is the kinda s--- Harden does that continues to annoy the s--- out of me... coulda had an easy layup after getting by steph but he tries to exaggerate the fucc out of a tiny little shove in the back and blows the wide open layup.. and just like that they're down 8

i picked warriors in 6 but they might get it in 5 smh
