Sorry I guess I've just gotten into the habit of seeing Cavs vs Warriors as Lebron vs Warriors.

If he signs in Philly I do think they can get there though, assuming the rest of the roster stays mostly intact.

he doesn't do enough outside of scoring or rim protection to be legitimately in the convo as best. lebron literally does everything. KD is a better scorer and defender right now. that's it.

I dissagree, but im not finna have this argument cause it's always just a endless cycle lol

im just upset that KD had to go this route and ruin the nba, seeing them face off in the finals on equal footing woulda been so great.

I remember booking off work and cancelling plans and s--- to watch the finals every year, Now idek if ima watch this s---. So depressing that this is the state of my favorite sport

nah forreal what else is he better at? but yea i agree. him staying with russ in okc while they could've potentially added horford and paul george woulda been a lot better than golden state. he will forever be a b---- to everyone not warriors fans. i am excited for the finals as a basketball fan, but i'm not expecting a great series or anything. if lebron and the cavs can get this to 6 games they should be happy.

again im not really tryna go on bout kd vs bron, but when i compare 2 players i dont really just look at the little things each of them do better than each other like passing vs scoring, etc. but more just their overall positive impact/contribution in the game for their team, when I watch KD vs bron in the playoffs the last couple of years i dont really see a difference between what each of em do in that sense.

well of course it's easy to look like that when you have 3 future hall of famers playing around you... kd rarely looks to set up his guys, but he's fortunate enough where he doesn't have to. if you put lebron on the warriors instead of kevin durant, i don't think they lose a game the entire playoffs. lebron doesn't disappear like that at the end of games (anymore)

Only a handful who are at his level defensively though, add in his play making and he's a big piece to their success.

He's definitely gotta be the one to take a pay cut though, no way you max a 6'7" dude who can't do anything on offense except dribble and pass.

Bron is a better overall player than KD but as far as individual skills go right now, he only edges him in play making and rebounding.

KD's a way better defender than Bron at this point too...wasn't Bron's defensive rating at the halfway point of the season like one of the worst in the league or something? Can't remember what the specific stat I heard was but it was something like that. Hasn't gotten much better in the playoffs either.
