I think there is a decent chance he stays too, but don’t see how much better that roster can get. Pick has value but not for a difference maker, even if you package it with Love.

I think Lebron wants a high up position with the Cavs after he retires. Leaving now wouldn’t muddy the waters like it did the first time, but o could see him just coming to the realization that the drop in play is on the way and he won’t win any more titles.

He’s not the choker any more. Prior to the titles it wouldn’t have mattered how well he played, if he came close to losing to a team that didn’t have their two best players he would have caught s---. Now it’s spun that his team was shorthanded lol.

I dunno I just think the pressure for another title isn’t there any more. Especially with how the Warriors kinda ruined the league with the KD thing.

Right and I feel he's in a place in his career now where he's not eager to latch on to a team near the brink. I think he stays and collects as much as Gilbert's money as possible and pushes for improvements. They're getting swept right now but they're not getting blown out of there.

Assuming PG is out of OKC, if Coby Altman's first call isn't to see if OKC is interested in a PG/Love sign and trade, he should be fired.

I don’t really know how S & T’s work any more, but I think the player you’re trading has to be a RFA & I doubt PG signs off on Cleveland.

Sign and trade is probably the wrong term but basically what CP3 and the Clippers/Rockets did. PG just has to agree to accept his PO once the trade goes through.

I honestly think that benefits both teams, again assuming PG is done with the Thunder. Reunites Russ & K Love and finally eliminates teams like Boston & GS constantly picking on Love in the playoffs.

Maybe you can get the Clippers to bite on some combination of Hill/JR expiring money and a future pick(s) for Deandre (not #8) and then draft Young or Sexton.

With Lebron on the team, they will still have enough talent to win the east as usual.

Yea CP3 is closer to the end and I don’t think PG cares enough about winning to take the pay cut.

Trent I know you’re a casual fan and the broadcasters refused to mention it during the series, but the Celtics get Kyrie & Hayward back next year and guys like Rozier, Brown & Tatum will improve as the Cavs older players decline.

I think playing with Bron and almost guaranteeing a Finals appearance might be enough for him to delay it for a year.

Trae/Hood/PG/Bron/Deandre is arguably a better starting 5 than everyone outside of GS/Boston/Houston.

    I don't think he's Curry 2.0 but I don't think he'll bust either.

Although I'm not too optimistic about it, I still enjoy thinking bout the possible 'best scenario' Lakers lineup for next season..

    Lonzo
    Paul George
    Ingram
    LeBron
    Randle

bench: Kuzma, Hart, Frye(maybe), Zubac, it'd be nice to also get 1 of the 3 (KCP, Lopez, IT) back but I doubt it tbh...they'd have to take a big pay cut.

I don't know if Randle at C would necessarily be the best idea, but this would be the coolest lineup to me at least..Man Bron and Randle in the paint together would be such beasts lol.

Regardless of what happens with PG+Bron or whoever else, they need to lock up Randle long term.

Yea I just don’t think there is any way the Cavs end up with both DeAndre & PG period. Nevermind getting them and somehow holding onto #8. Unless they just decide to not draft until 2025 or something and just become the Nets.

2021 is the next pick that they can trade I believe and even then I don’t think they can trade that until after next season. Think the pick they traded Korver for is top 10 prot. In 2019 & you can’t trade 1st rounders in b2b years. So I think they have to wait until that pick officially goes to ATL.

2022 is 5 drafts away, kinda a tough sell. Could offer a swap in 2020, but if Lebron stays nobody is gonna want that.

Oh definitely a long shot but those are the types of things they need to explore to convince Bron to stick around.

Casey is a terrible coach who should have been fired after the 2015 wizards series, no matter what direction we go in he had to go

Yea I went to game 1 of that series where Chris Kelly had the OT GW. Bruins won the cup the year before and came close again the year after.

Look if the Caps win this year then they're off the hook, but i mean beating the B's doesn''t erase the five blown 3-1 leads.

Even if that trade happens Cleveland still gets swept in the Finals and/or beat by Boston.

LeBron is headed to Boston with the slight chance of LA if they can somehow pull off a trade for Kawhi.

    Book it.

Boston would be unreal with Bron. I read something on twitter that said all they’d have to send out is Hayward and Morris.

I’m doubtful Kawhi gets moved at all but I think it’s a 0% chance Pop sends him to a team in the West, let alone the Lakers.
