Relax chief it’s June and they’re 1 game up, only because Mookie got hurt. Wait till Pedroia and Thornburg get back.

Good to see Yankees fans are back after disappearing for a couple years there.

Fair enough, they're at 118 HR's in '18 through 70 games tho, only trailing the '99 Mariners

Yankee stadium will turn past-his-prime Johnny Damon into a HR hitter though.

Several times in the past that did not translate to NBA because of factors like s-----y refs and weird defenses but it is definitely something to be aware of

Terrible post game, and can guard every position. He’ll be a 3/4 - perfect wing in today’s nba.

you dont take someone with his blocking ability out of the paint to chase 4's. Knicks do this with KP and its f---in infuriating

His switchability is what makes him so valuable on defense though. There’s a reason guys like KAT and Whiteside were practically unplayable in the playoffs... The league is changing, you need to be able to switch onto smaller, quicker guys.

yeah he can switch on the pick and roll, (whoever picks bamba gonna do the same thing) but when the d first sets JJ should be guarding people like Gobert or the player closest to the paint. However, what make JJ so interesting is he'll be able to surivive going against a team like GS because he's mobile enough (same with Bamba). But, to be most effect overall he should be kept in the paint as much as he can protecting the basket.

It really just depends who takes him. If it’s Atlanta you’re right. Memphis has Marc Gasol already for rim protection, and you don’t want him switching onto guys like Curry. Fit is the key, but he’s also a guy you pick knowing that the fit won’t be an issue. He can fit anywhere. Again, it’s what makes him so valuable/intriguing to me.

    Agreed.

For example, the knicks constantly f--- this up with Kp because he can switch onto guards but playing him with another 5 like kanter for example makes KP effectively less effective because he has to clean up for kanter and then run out to the 3 point line to contest a player like ryan anderson. And playing jackson with a big like tristan thompson would effectively do the same thing to jackson. It's as u say all about fit
