Agreed. You don’t trade Jaylen if you’re risking getting Kawhi for only a year. Low ball the s--- out of them. That’s why I think he’s basically already to the Lakers haha

Definitely trying to drive price up. Pretty sure a report came out saying Spurs would only trade if they can take kyrie. In that case we’d probably have to keep Rozier and resign Smart. Doubt we get Kawhi but for a one year rental Rozier plus picks would be pretty fair.

Really confused with whats going on.

Lakers seem very desired to trade for Leonard, does that mean they dont think they'll get PG?? PG has opted out of his contract (although that doesnt mean he's going).

Also if I was the Celtics I would throw in Hayward. It's a cold move but not the first one Ainge has done. Who knows if Hayward will ever be the same after his injury (same with Leonard tbh).

rumor has it that Lebron doesn’t want to be the first star to get to LA and that PG won’t be sure until Lebron is. So if they get Kawhi first and dump Deng (and probably s&t Randle) they can get Kawhi, PG, and Lebron, plus one of the core young guys (Lonzo Kuzma hart etc.). Reports saying Spurs won’t make a deal without Ingram so they aren’t keeping him.

Yea I’ve been against it from the beginning. If you want them you have Brown for 7 more years and Tatum for 8. In all likelihood the Celtics will be in the Finals next year if they do nothing. Only way I’m moving Brown is for an Anthony Davis type, i’m not moving Tatum for anyone & I think Ainge is on that same page.

Ainge will have 2 more swings in the lottery next year or one next year and one the year after depending on how bad Memphis is. Should stay the course, see if Kyrie can stay healthy and if he does try to extend him.

I'd probably take him. Look how Oladipo flourished when he got off Westbrooks team. It's better than taking Leonard, coming off an injury, the uncertainty of him going to LA next year and the assets the Sixers would have to give up.
