Why? AD isn’t getting dealt until he gets a spot at the table

It could all just be stirring the pot by Rich Paul, and at this point I’m pretty sure it is, but didn’t it come out that AD has no interested of going to Boston? Feel like the only way that happens is if Kyrie stays, which is becoming less and less likely. (His comments today were very weird) Obviously the C’s would still be in solid shape for the future with their picks and young guys, but you’d hate to lose out on AD just cuz Kyrie leaves.

I feel like the lakers best offer is now. It may not be the same in the summer. The Knicks would’ve had a decent package if they didn’t just f--- themselves, and Boston obviously has a great one too, but it sounds like anywhere not LA is a rental for AD, so they may not be willing to offer more than the Lakers are.

After watching the full interview with Kyrie, he sounded more frustrated with the media always bringing him up and understandably so. Last week he was going to the Lakers, now he's going to the Knicks. Kyrie also says in the interview he believes in the Celtics future and they are leading the race (regarding him resigning). Of course like media does, they took a quote and spinned it to fit a narrative.

I watched the whole interview too. I agree that the media took his quote or two and ran with it, but it’s still a way different view than he had prior to the season when he had full intentions of re-signing. I’m not positive Kyrie likes it there as much as everyone anticipated. He’s voiced his frustrations several times this season too. I would still lean toward him re-signing, but it seems like those odds are shrinking almost every week.

The day we found out Anthony Davis, is an Anthony Davis Jr. Seems like a father who played a big part in his sons life. I have no issues with AD wanting out obviously, his dad talking about loyalty here is next level stupid though.

Kyrie's comments worry me a little but we'll see if a deep playoff run that hes a part of this time changes things.

^This dude is having a borderline nervous break down over not getting Anthony Davis lol His dad is right, Boston (their sports in genera) isn’t a loyal franchise. Look what the Krafts did to Hernandez. They knew they drafted a killer but testified against him and made him look even worse.

do you think the Lakers can be a legit contender if they trade for AD at the deadline? hope they keep at least 1 of the good young guys though, I'm hoping Ingram stays the most. If they do get AD they almost definitely get another max guy this offseason as well, Kyrie seems most likely at this time but who knows.

Absolutely, if they land AD. At least going off what fox sports analysts thinks too. I think AD wants to go to the lakers the most. I think Ingram has a lot of potential so I’d be a little hesitant to get rid of him but everyone else on the list they had I’d definitely give up. Lonzo for sure. Dude never impressed me yet and I watch the lakers more than any nba team. Plus with him getting hurt.

The lakers with AD would at least give the Warriors a run for their money in the playoffs. If Durant leaves the warriors after this season then the lakers will definitely have a shot going to the championship next year. They won’t have a problem beating any team in the east, once they get AD. And it looks like Kyrie will be leaving the Celtics after this season. Kyrie is a great player, but he almost seems like cancer in the locker room and for the team. Dude seems selfish as f---. I would rather have AD than Kyrie on the lakers. AD seems he’d be fine splitting with Lebron and not caring about being the leader on the team. Kyrie obviously wants to be the main star on whatever team he’s on.

@dna hits but Kyrie called Bron recently and apologized for dissing Bron before, said he didn't know how hard it was being a leader and all that. I don't think he'd have a problem playing with 2 other stars at this point, Bron and potentially AD or someone else. I'd rather get Klay or KD or Kawhi but not too confident bout any of those 3. Kyrie is probably a long shot too tbh, but I think they got a shot at him.

For now just gotta see what happens before next week's trade deadline.

Post season changes things. Kyrie in it for the long haul.

Feel like I don’t even want AD at this point. Stay away Danny.
