    Just cancel the season...

and not pay players...or give ever

that would be true sacrifice...and get attention for being selfless...not a accepting money...

that would be truly a powerful message

or donate everything to fighting your cause...

There's really only 2 options that I see possible, and they are complete opposites:

    1. Tomorrow's games aren't happening, period..but then the day after that games resume..Basically games get pushed back 2 days and nothing else changes, they continue to talk about these issues, spread awareness etc..
    2. Season is cancelled, probably announced sometime tomorrow or the day after.

If the Lakers and Clippers vote to end the season was sincere and I believe it was, then number 2 is probably happening..I've heard some people talk about the idea of continuing the season without those 2 teams, that'd be a joke and can't see any way the NBA does that.

This is the best season if any to boycott the whole thing. As Sam Mitchell said: Which side of History will you be on?

Even though the other teams voted for the season to continue I feel like any other votes that aren't LeBron's don't really count in anything in general.

feels like money was the deciding factor...

The cost of not playing would have been tremendous for all involved. There was about $1 billion in national TV money riding on the playoffs. With nearly one round complete, it’s unknown how much the league would have had to pay back to Turner and ESPN/ABC, but the cost would be substantial. Beyond that, the league’s collective bargaining agreement likely would have been canceled, and the owners would have locked the players out until a new, less generous deal for the players was reached.

Sources say Chris Paul, the president of the players’ union, and vice president Andre Iguodala led the way, throughout the night and into the meeting today, in getting players to see the bigger picture-not just the financial implications of walking away from the rest of the season, but losing the strength of the platform they have in the bubble to continue to push for the changes they want.

mavs lost but they showed a lot of heart and Luka was a joy to watch. who knows what would have happened if porzingas didn't get that controversial ejection early in the series. but boy, kawhi is lethal with that mid range shot. also good to see paul george back to playing the kind of basketball he normally does

interesting perspective, I like hearing different opinions...

whitlock Had his own show on ESPN or fox sports...and got fired because his opinion was different...

athletes for the most part are morons...not educated...have power because of their fame/money...have influence but have double standards...

nba players should donate the rest of their playoff money to the cause...put your money where your mouth is...

or just stop playing basketball...sacrifice the season for the cause...

some of these guys can’t form a proper sentence, nor come up with a good argument....there are obviously exceptions to the rule...
