Jan 31, 2016 g.d. it fam I was going to f---ing do it I swear to god but it was not the right time. She jumps straight into catching up so I don't have a chance to start my piece, then in that process of catching up I learn that she's currently worried about a mutual friend of ours that she's been hooking up with but now thinks is falling too hard for her. She doesn't want to be in an actual relationship with him, and she asked me what I thought. I told her that if she doesn't want a relationship with him and is worried about him getting too attached then she should stop hooking up with him. The entire time she's mentioning how weird it is for her because they had just been friends up until this point. So really I got all the cards stacked against me on initiating the convo I wanted to initiate. She says after a bit more banter that she needs to shower and study because she has two tests this week, but wants to Facetime again later in the week. Honestly the whole thing made me want to abort mission, but I know I'm not going to actually get over her unless it's clear enough. I guess I'll try and have the conversation when we talk later in the week? I have a feeling I know what the response will be, but I need to hear it anyway.

Feb 1, 2016 Is it just him she doesn't want to be in a relationship with or doesnt want a relationship in general? If you do go through with letting her know how you truly feel just make sure to push the fact that you dont want your feelings to get in between what you already share. You dont want her to feel weird but because you are good friends you want to be upfront and honest with her. Facetiming while telling her is probably for the best so you can see her reactions to the info you are giving her. In a way it's kind of good she told you this, just so you can be a bit more prepared for the worst =(
Feb 1, 2016 It's not that doesn't want a relationship period, more that she doesn't want a relationship with this guy. But it just felt like if I were to try anything that I might get the same reaction. I'm back to not being sure if I should tell her how I feel before I get back in person, but if I do it over facetime then I'll probably wait a bit for that situation to resolve itself so the idea of friends becoming lovers when she doesn't want them to isn't so prominent in her mind.
