Dec 11, 2014 I get that Cole doesn't want to show any hype or publicity for his album, but getting a performance on Letterman and then doing this seems pretty wack. Cool verse though.
Dec 11, 2014 That was dope wouldn't mind getting a cdq of that track. Hopefully its on Truly yours 4 along with this...
Dec 11, 2014 Cole the god! He went on national TV and instead of performing a "single", he makes a statement. That new verse >>>>>
Dec 13, 2014 Powerful, but planned. Great way to increase the hype & buzz for the album. New verse on a powerful song.
Dec 13, 2014 A man can dream cant he? ...classic line ..J Cole is the f---in man...d--- 2014 was saved
Dec 14, 2014 It was pretty good Also pretty boring. Dudes got some chops tho. And the s--- had a few interesting lines. The thing is, when rappers (including kanye) rap about racially charged s--- like I look even harder than normal at the content/writing. This was straightforward cept for a few parts (let em be the captain of a ship thata sinking >) I do like that he chose to perform something like this tho. But I perfer kendricks statement made thru the SNL performance. Much more powerful imo
