This is dope, Im a huge Nirvana fan. The only thing i'd suggest is cleaning the drums up a little bit to match the tempo of the sample a little better at times.. I'm not trying to take away from the beat at all though, i like it. Good s--- bro! I love seeing all these new creative minds around Sxn80. It's pretty refreshing.

I'm glad to be apart of the community. I did the quantization the way I did to give it a weird kind of vibe. It seems to line up in my head, of course the listeners probably catch different vibes than I which is all good.

sounds like it could use some more direction. as of now it sort of sounds like you were trying to make a boss battle styled BGM for a video game or something, but there isn't really a discernable direction to the way the track was suppose to go. it just kind of played

Know what you mean. I have a problem with that. I can get sounds and s--- but then have trouble with the structure, and building upon the loop.

try to listen very closely to your favorites, or music you want to produce like then

listen to how their songs are structured. try to make sure your notes are going somewhere at the very least, and aren't just kind of there. make sure the sections make sense

i always try to have an intro that builds up before the beat comes in on a 'verse' part, and then build on that a little to any sort of 'drop/chorus' area. go back into a mellow styled 'verse' again, build it, bigger version of the 'drop/chorus', outro which is a more charged intro basically or coming off the same notes as what preceeds it (just stripped down a lot and then breaking down all the way).

i do it this way so there are always sections set aside for specific parts of a song and it makes sense. i try and switch that all up sometimes tho and have completely different versions of certain things, like a different second 'drop/chorus' or a bridge maybe, but it's basically your average structure

does sound like something from a boss fight. I can see where your going with this but like Cyreides said, there really is no direction. It sounds like your around the 130 bpm. Imo what would help is maybe count about 10 measures for the build up and then start the synth sound. Currently it sounds like your buildup is about 20 measures which imo sounds kind of long.
