I agree with @xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Saquon was definitely the right pick. He was the only guaranteed star at the time. Darnold may be solid, I just have a hard time loving USC QBs in the NFL. The best is Palmer, and that’s coming from a USC fan.

Well time will tell how the QBs turn out, one year is not enough. This was a heavy QB class with a lot of options. Now the giants are stuck with a player that didn’t translate to wins and a lame duck qb for probably another year at least. RBs are easily expendable and replaceable

Yeah not very happy. Get rid of Tomlin and I think the problem will be solved.

If that @redsoxx goofy says anything about this I’ll pull up bruh, been practicing some boxing. And I smoked better weed back in my smoking days than you ever will.

Patriots have the absolute most s--- division in the nfl. If the browns were in their division, they would have won more games and ended up competing with the pats for number one in their division. It’s embarassing really.

An RB’s shelf life in this league is so short though. By their late 20’s, they start to decline already & that’s not taking into consideration any type of serious injuries. Darnold at least has the opportunity to improve + he would have been paired up with a WR like OBJ. Long-term, it would have been the better decision imo.

PFF named Baker Mayfield & Derwin James as their offensive & defensive rookie of the year. Well earned imo.

Also, the top 5 graded QB’s throughout the regular season are:

Dak ranked 18th which sounds about right tbh...

I would rank Dak over Mariota tbh. Cousins higher than Ben, ehhh idk about that. Dalton ranked a little too high. But the majority of the list i agree with. I would also rank Rodgers above Brady at this point in their career.

Bears remind me of the Rams from a year ago. That’s why we’ll beat them. Post season football is just different and I don’t trust tribisky

Dak/Mariota & Cousins/Ben are extremely close in terms of grade. Those pairs essentially played at the same level throughout the season, arguing Dak over Mariota or Ben over Cousins is just splitting hairs imo.

You shouldn’t. But, Bears have found a way to get it done all season with him. Your secondary vs Bears receiving core is gonna be the big match up imo. Bears rely heavily on their playmakers to get YAC & create big plays.

The guy who scares me the most is Cohen, he’s like a clone of sproles. If we can limit his big ability then I think we’re in good shape. Our front seven have been playing amazing on this streak, so I think we’ll be able to shut down their run game and that leaves it up to tribisky. Like I said, postseason football is just different. How many times have we seen young teams go on a run like this and then fizzle out because they’re not ready for the moment? I think next year the bears will be dangerous, but this year I like our experience in 21-17 type game.

Out of all the playoff games this weekend, this gotta be the closest match up. It’s gonna be really fun to watch.

I have a horrible feeling Trubisky is actually gonna show up and make some big plays. Idk. One week he’ll look like he was worth the #2 pick and others he looks like Nathan Peterman. I hope Mack can get a ring, but I’d be lying if I said I wanted them to win. Gotta get a higher pick for the Raiders lol.

I’m interested to see where all of these teams go with their head coaching vacancies too. Would love to see Lincoln Riley take a shot with Cleveland but it sounds like he’s staying.

@Enigma what are your thoughts on the cowboys matchup vs. seattle?

seahawks obviously have the better QB, but the Cowboys are clearly better team IMO. plus you guys are at home. i see cowboys defense giving the seahawks problems. as long as your offense shows up..........i say boys win

    what about you?

For starters, defense has to show up. If we want any chance in the playoffs, the defense has to play great football, that’s just the reality of our situation. If they don’t, we have no chance & will likely get blown out. Secondly, someone on offense has to step up. Preferably, I’d want Dak or Zeke to step it up another notch but it can be Cooper, Jarwin had a monster game last week against the Giants, someone offensively has to step up. Also, it’s time for the coaches to let Dak loose running the ball. When Dak gets going running the ball, it really opens up our offense & keeps defenses off balance. I think we can beat Seattle but it’s going to take a h--- of a team effort. We can’t afford to make big mistakes. Defense needs to keep this at least a relatively low scoring game (less than 24 points) & offense needs to just execute & score TDs in red zone which we’ve been awful at this season.

that's what i like about you @Enigma, you keep s--- real. none of that homer/bias/pick my team just because they're my favorite team BS. i got the cowboys winning, by the way

@Sign Language what are your thoughts on this matchup with the colts? the interesting thing about these two teams is that both started horribly and somehow still made the playoffs. the texans started 0-3 and comfortably made the playoffs. usually a team doesn't get in when they start that poorly. the colts we're like 1-5 at one point and still made it into the tournament.

i'm picking the colts, but i don't feel confident about it. these matchups this weekend are so hard to call IMO. ultimately, i think the colts will be able to protect their QB a little better. watson is awesome but he's taken so many sacks this season. should be an interesting matchup, especially with how familiar these teams are being that you guys are in the same division

Not sure what to think. I mean I obviously hope my Texans can win, but a few things worry me.
    • Our receiving core is decimated with injuries. Aside from D Hop, we have Vyncint Smith and DeAndre Carter (I know, who?). We may get Keke Coutee back but won’t know til gameday.
    • Our D line vs their O line. The colts O line has been playing great lately. If we can’t force pressure, then Andrew Luck will have all day to throw the ball. Bad idea. This should be a good matchup.
    • Our secondary can’t stop TY Hilton. Over his last 7 games in NRG Stadium, Hilton has averaged 133 yards a game.
I think in order for us to win we need to run the ball effectively, pressure Andrew Luck, and cover TY Hilton. I think this will be a good game.
