Winning a Super Bowl doesn't matter? Fans are so much about "what have you done for me lately" that it's ridiculous. Literally one year later his ring doesn't matter lol ok, what's the point in even playing every season then?

Yea well generally when you have a body of work, you're judged on what you've done the most of. Russell has played extremely well in big games/situations compared to his poor play, Brady isn't judged off of any of his playoff losses, that would be stupid. Peyton has choked in the playoffs more than he's succeeded so that makes sense.

Why would you ignore this game or ignore the super bowl? I factor in both lol, as everyone else will too. I'm just saying doing this bad in a big game will start to put some doubt in people's minds about him in these big games, doesn't mean he still doesn't have a good track record overall.

Yeah this one's far from over, Seattle needs to have a big 1st possession in the 2nd half to get some momentum going. A quick 3 and out might end this one pretty quick in the 3rd if that's what happens.

Superbowl Bound, missed opportunities in the first half, but I don't see how Seattle goes into halftime with ANY optimism.

Can't let up. Who Gon Stop Us?

I've never been a Super Bowl ring/playoff wins determine how good your QB is type of guy. I judge base on play/performance more than anything because that's what it comes down too, how good is this player not how good his team was.

I would elaborate further but games on and I'm kind of distracted but I don't hate Wilson, I think he's a good QB but my post was basically aimed at the fact that a lot of football fans ignore the bad in a QB once he "wins" a ring lol. Best example would be Eli who's been inconsistent and mediocre for a big portion of his career yet, two crazy runs and people still argue that he's better than much more consistent QB's like Matt Ryan, Phillip Rivers, Tony Romo etc.

If you call all of these teams your "favorite team" then that's f---ing r-----ed. I would say that I really the Seahawks, and I generally root for the Pats but I'd never go around saying I'm a fan of either team. Even though the Jaguars f---ing blow and I'm wearing a Sherman jersey right now I make it a point to let everyone know I'm not actually a Seahawks fan.

And the same division s--- is a joke, I will never root for the Titans, Colts or Texans in any game let alone a playoff game. Too much bad blood and history, how can you do that as an actual fan lol

No, I agree completely. I've always been against weighing SB rings heavily when comparing legacies, I just think what Kon said was absolutely ridiculous... that Wilson is 9-0 against SB winning QB's, but if he loses this game people will doubt him.

I said people will start to doubt him a little in big games, that's it lol. I think you're exaggerating what I said a bit, not taking away from what Wilson's done. I still think he's one of the best QBs in the league.

Also Wilson isn't just barely losing a close game while playing well, he's playing awful so far and at home too. Plus a lot of those games in the 9-0 stretch (about half I think) were in the regular season, playoff games matter much more. I didn't even say whether I think it's right or not, just said I think people will start to doubt him a little in these big games cuz of this performance. In many ways yes it is about what you've done recently cuz that, and especially in big games is what people will remember most.

I think it's fair to say that kind of discussion will come up, whether you agree with it or not.

*edit* I do think Wilson will get it going in the 2nd half though.

Can we all agree giving a team 0 percent chance, or 10 or 15 or 20 is f---ing ridiculous. This is football, ANYTHING CAN happen.

Russel Wilsons QBR a big fat 0, gotta love it

Yeah. I went on record picking Seattle to win but I never said GB did not have a chance. Didn't seattle lose to the f---ing RAMS?

This game could be over already but Seattles D has been carrying this team and saving the offense a---. This first drive is so important, you don't put up some sort of points here, it's gonna get ugly. Can't rely on your D all game, sooner or later Packers offense is gonna get a big play.
