If we can win two of the next three games, we pretty much walk to a division title since we finish the season with an easy schedule that the cowboys got to start with.

Brady going to another team makes zero sense. He’s literally set in New England. They don’t have an inevitable QB of the future; they’re built to win now; the AFC is kind of in shambles with Luck retired/Big Ben declining; their division is a cake walk. Like....why leave? Dude could win multiple more rings.

Agree totally. He should be going out like Kobe

Adam Schefter said it’s not likely Brady will be with Pats after this season—that has me wondering what’s going on between Pats and Brady

Sorry bud, but winners get considered for mvp candidates. Not inconsistent losers who get their a--- beat by the jets. Look up how many short yardage passes Dak throws which obviously is going to increase his QBR. That’s like when Brady just threw 2 yard passes to their rbs all year. Dak luckily has an elite RB he can throw the ball to for 2 yards and Zeke possibly running the ball for more yards. Gallup catches like small 6 yard catches on the average. A ton of slants to Cooper that are only 6-8 yard completions. He would be a mvp candidate, if he was a qb who could air the ball 50 yards for long passing td’s. He can’t do that. They can draft another Dak just throwing short passes. But they won’t draft another Zeke for 15-20 years. You should understand that, since they paid Zeke first. The owners and managers aren’t dumb and know who the more elite player is. If Dak can take his team to the playoffs because of their awful division and if he wins 1 playoff game somehow, then he’ll have more of a case being paid over 30 million. Just imagine if Tony Romo had the weapons the cowboys have now. He was the type of qb to carry a average offense.

There’s actually a Boston sports writer who gets inside news sometimes. He said if Brady’s stats finish as bad as last year and kept going downhill, that the patriots are ready to move on from Brady, after this season. They believe they could trade for a QB or do a trade for a high draft pick and get someone who can put up the sloppy numbers Brady did last year. And said because of their defense, they still think they’d win their division with it being terrible. The bills will get a little better I believe. Singletary is the real deal and I think I’m keeping him and obviously josh Jacobs in a keepers league. In conclusion, we all thought Manning would never play for another team. If Brady still feels like he can play, he’ll go to a team that’s not terrible and play with a chip on his shoulder. He should go to the bills and it’d be hilarious if bills would beat the patriots for the division. It wouldn’t surprise me if Brady plays for a different team for 1-2 years.

Fantasy pros said Singletary will be one of the main receiving backs next year. And They believe Frank Gore will finally retire. So Singletary will be getting all the carries too. And their defense is good. They need another solid receiver with Brown, who’s actually a top 20 WR this year (ranked like 17th-19.)

But all beef and arguments aside, let’s take a minute to salute frank gore still running the ball at 36 years old. That’s impressive. And next year, if a team has a solid WR core and a QB and just need a RB. I’d honestly pay Adrian Peterson for the year. His yards per carry is still pretty good. He’s still a buff stacked player and in great shape. He may not be as explosive, but on a great offense who’s just missing a rb, I’d honestly play Peterson full time next year and draft a rookie to learn from AP and put him in when AP needs a little rest.

Dak is 12th in the league in air yards; 2nd in average completed air yards; & 6th in ANY/A. He’s been throwing the ball down field all season.

If MVPs are only winners, can’t wait for Tom Brady to win another one :allears:

Negged. Why do you always respond and can’t just say I won an argument? You even get personal and make fun of mental health and my medicine prescriptions. Next time you do that, I’m texting my manager Slyk. Btw, when the democrats have their main candidate and the real 2020 race begins, I said making a politics section for it could be beneficial. And I picked you as the top candidate to run the section. If anyone is just trolling to try and ruin discussion ban them from the thread. You’ll help operate it, right? Please. I said you’re a political science major and actually wants to work in the field and brings good discussion. Tell slyk too if you think a politics section would be a good idea right before the race starts vs Trump. It should bring discussion from a lot of other members too.

In all seriousness though, I can’t blame Dak wanting top dollar. Like those stats he has that you brought up that I already knew, yeah it favors him and makes him look good. Honestly if jones has the money to waste, they mise well pay him over 30 million. Because next year when they practice on their weaknesses and work on a better o-line, they should be a top 4 NFC Super Bowl pick tbh. And Dak tries to come back in games already lost. He’s not a quitter. Thinking that drafting a qb and trading Dak would be too risky. You’re going to ruin the Dak and Cooper connection. I honestly thought cooper was just an overrated name when he was on the raiders and he s----d at fantasy for me one year. But him and Dak’s connection is one of my favorites to watch tbh. This one guy won’t even give me Cooper for Odell in a fantasy league lol

It really wouldn’t surprise me if dolphins get their first win tonight. Steelers are known to struggle against easy teams then make it within a one td game against good teams. Like when they beat the Seahawks on a game winning drive letting time run out, then Conner decided to fumble. It’s nice to see Rudolph back. But d--- was that a horrible int pass. Surprised he’s back this quick. But please just run Conner against this s-----y defense and you’ll win. Don’t pass on first down.

And this will be the last week I have James Conner on my one fantasy team. It’s a major risk, but I traded him for Le’veon Bell. The Jets remaining schedule is easy and they play the dolphins next week and redskins in a few weeks. I followed what the pro fantasy site said. If you don’t have a winning record in a league, it’s good to shake your team up. Also I’m curious how Mark Walton does for the dolphins. He’s the confirmed number one back and I picked him up in one league. Someone needs to run the ball in for tds and get the runs. I don’t think Walton will be too good. But if u have someone u can drop, at least Walton is a starter who may end up having success.

So @TimmyT I do apologize for some of my Teddy Bridgwater comments. After his success with the saints as a back up, do you think he deserves a final shot as a starter with a team next year? The only bad thing is, he won’t have all the studs he had for the saints. But like for Chicago maybe? Bills? Dolphins? Browns? Redskins? If the browns someone keep Odell, I would honestly get Teddy for the browns starter next year. Or if cousins pisses this season away and plays like garbage around playoffs, would you like seeing teddy coming back to the Vikings for one more shot?

as I said before, I didn’t think Bridgwater would be a long term answer even before his injury, so I guess that’s why you’re apologizing. I don’t have a problem admitting when I’m wrong—football is unpredictable—people are going to be wrong. You even said that I said he’d be the next Warren Moon (probably because they’re both black lol) that’s how I know you were just making s--- up

Teddy might get a shot as a starter next year, but it’s highly unlikely he’ll go to the Browns. The Browns used a number 1 overall pick on Baker not too long ago...so I have no idea why the h--- you’d think that would be a likely landing spot for Teddy

Cousins has a massive fully guaranteed contract, so he’s going to be our starter for at least one more season regardless of what happens this season. And no, I don’t wanna see Teddy come back for one final shot—I never liked him from the start

I mean, it could happen, they have/had an easy schedule.. I'd much rather them get a bad game out of the way then have it happen in the playoffs/Super Bowl... But it's entirely possible they have a shot to go undefeated. I just think it's too difficult to do, and I've much preferred winning Super Bowls then going 18-1 lol. Plus I've heard countless interviews with players from the 2007 Pats team that said the pressure really started to weigh on them in the playoffs to be perfect.

If I'm the head coach of most teams, I am running the ball 35 times on the Pats defense though lol. IDK why teams are trying to pass on them, they're gonna get their QB killed. But, I think some teams might be able to run on them. Again, maybe I'm reaching on this, but Gore and Chubb had really good games against them, so maybe that's the blueprint to beat them. I'd also pass it to whoever JC Jackson is guarding and hope for pass interference calls lol. That's really all I have to beat them lol.

What's scary is the Pats offense hasn't really clicked since Wynn has been out, but he's back this week. Plus, there are reports that N'Keal Harry and Brady have great chemistry together. The 2nd half of the season could be when the Pats offense starts clicking and exploding, which is really scary. I don't think their running game is going to be what it was last year, because they really miss Gronk's run blocking to set the edge. That's why they can't run outside this season.

I just really want Wynn/Harry back.

Anyways, I don't think Brady is going anywhere, I think a lot of people are reaching. I do love Stidham, and I think the Pats look at Stidham a lot like they did Jimmy G, but I really think that all these rumors are reaches. I don't think it's a good move for Brady to go to another team, just because the Pats defense and offense are loaded with young talent. They could be built as Super Bowl contenders for the next few years with this defense. They really don't have many holes, aside from maybe tight end.

I think Brady is more likely to retire than go to another team.

Only teams that Boston radio has talked about as possibilities for Brady are Titans, Bears, and surprisingly, Steelers lol.

Like I said though, I think Brady would rather retire than go to another team. I think a lot of this is fantasy. I could see Brady retiring if they win a 7th though.

they wanted a lot for him & tbh...at this point... I wouldn’t have minded giving up a lot. With Zeke resigned, Jaylon resigned, Dak going to be resigned soon...it’s win now. I don’t know if we’ll have all these guys in a couple years.

Definitely not the Steelers lol They already have their future qb. I’d go with Ben for one more season, if he actually works out and eats good in the off season. I don’t think Ben does tbh. He looks older than his age. He looked terrible his first few starts. I’d see if they could get someone good for Ben or a team offering a high round draft pick tbh.

With Brady, that was just off a report I read. It could have been a clickbait for views report for all ik. Did I send you a link to it like mid summer I think it was? I think i did to someone. I disagree that Brady would retire if he had to go to another team. As long as he felt healthy and still felt he has a year or 2 left. And Brady is a competitor. He’ll be playing with a cheap on his shoulder. In reality, pats will probably keep him until Brady gets any worse then I would see Brady retiring as a Pat.

quick question, what do you think about their game against the ravens this week? It’s probably their toughest game on their remaining schedule. I think the pats secondary will shut down Lamar and keep his sneak runs limited. I think they have a chance if they can get Mark Ingram rolling. I would pick ravens this week, if the pats defense wasn’t so d--- good. I hate to, but I’m leaning towards picking the Pats. What do you think will be the result of the game?

as good as the chiefs are, their defense is very suspect. Patrick or no Patrick, I feel like Chiefs won’t have a lot of trouble scoring. But we should be able to keep up due to how crappy their defense is. Arrowhead is tough to win at but I like our chances because of how well we’re running the ball

As far as the other games, I’m really, really looking forward to the Sunday night game. As good as the Pats have been, the Ravens are one of the few teams that gives them trouble. And the Ravens are at home, so this should be a very interesting matchup. Plus I wanna see Lamar Jackson play. He’s improved and proved me wrong as the Ravens look like the team who will probably win that division
