Cowboys always get a bunch of hype for being “America’s Team”...ESPN and fox sports talk about them non stop...skip Bayless and Stephen a smith need to talk more about the other play-off teams and their successful seasons....

If Wentz can pull that off...it would be impressive and stop all the talk that Big d-ck nick Foles was the real reason they won a Super Bowl and last year should have bested New Orleans If Jeffrey catches that ball...

People say this but at this point if you’re watching figures like skip, Stephen a smith etc. & taking their inputs seriously—you have no one to blame but yourself lol

I could care less about the cowboys...just notice national pundits talk about them all the time...that equals yearly hype around them.

I’m a bills fan...barely get any national love even when they are having a great season...just like other small markets in the country

Who’s your team? Do you listen to any analysts? Or just watch games with the sound turned off? That would be legit

im a cowboys fan lol but I’m saying people in media talk about the Cowboys a lot because their brand is huge & it garners attention. People who fucken hate the Cowboys tune into what skip Bayless has to say every week. So that’s why I think it’s funny that these same people also complain that the Cowboys are “overrated” every year or get too much media attention. They feed the very media machine that they complain about lol.

I stay away from mainstream sport media. It’s mostly for entertainment purposes rather than actual sports analysis. I follow the guys at Pro Football Focus closely obvi (post their work here all the time); I follow some of the guys at Football Outsiders who do a lot of great work & some guys for FiveThirtyEight. + random data guys that tweet about football a lot. Football analytics Twitter is a great source of like actual in-depth knowledge about the game. I’ve learned so much about the sport from following all these guys that you would never hear about on ESPN or NFL Network because it’s not marketable to the wider audience.

Ahh I see, ya makes sense.

Cowboys brand is huge. Expectations are always super high, which is unfair.

Those places are Definitely better perspective...I do see your posts...and sometimes come across them on Twitter...those stats are way better then talking personalities like Stephen a smith and skip who just spew their opinion with terrible analytics to back it up...they have 0 playing experience and act like they know football...just cause they have cover it for years...

I definitely catch the mainstream sports mediums and they always have something to say about Cowboys....I like hearing former pros talk about the game

How fed up are the Vikings fans on here with Cousins? Dude just can’t get it done and is pure mediocrity ultimately.

That was an impressive win by Green Bay...thought Minnesota would get it done

Cousins hot seat is on...the team is solid in all facets of the game...and his getting lots of $$$ to be the QB

@TimmyT what’s your take on the Monday nighter?

GB would get a bye as of right now

    Minnesota would goto New Orleans

I know you don’t like cousins, but you can’t just blame him every time we lose a primetime or big game. Cousins did great vs Seahawks and we still lost. Football is a huge team game

Boos you should know this better than anyone. Foles led y’all to Super Bowl and he’s not even starting

Vikings lost this game because of their offensive line. Cousins played great against Seattle and we still lost. Football isn’t the NBA. This isn’t boxing, golf or tennis.

Cousins could have 3000 yards in one game and if we lost you guys would still blame him lol

Football is the ultimate team game...3 teams in 1...unfortunately the QB gets a lot praise when they win and a lot of criticism when they lose...

Usually the most paid dude on the field too

Brady has won super bowls being carried by amazing defenses...run game....and special teams...confident trusted kickers hitting big kicks over and over....yet Brady gets all the praise

I think that’s why if Minnesota doesn’t go far they will blame Cousins...

@TimmyT what would you address in the off-season/draft? Oline? To take the next step...I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Vikings win a game in the playoffs...@New Orleans is locked in

Hope they don’t run Dalvin Cook to the ground, rb come and go but when he’s healthy it really makes a difference for cousins and the offense

Minnesota is resting either way....getting ready for playoffs...they are not playing anyone next week too

I mean yea Foles shows up when it matters and Cousins never has. I would not accept him as my QB, especially at the price he’s paid. No team with him will ever get to the promise land. If you’re cool with being a wild card level team that’s one thing, but come on.

QBs who are inferior to Cousins have won Super Bowls in the past, so that’s not a good argument

Boos I just think you’re mad because Kirk blew ya’ll the f--- out this year :emoji_wink:

Vikings fans have the nerve to talk s--- about a meaningless regular season win. The audacity lmao. Coming from a fan base that we 1) fleeced a first round pick for Bradford from. 2) whooped in the NFC championship. 3) won a super bowl in their stadium two weeks after. 4) stole their playoff spot last year. 5) beat in the playoffs in 2008, 2004, and 1980 (every playoff matchup between the two.) In other words, we’ve beaten you in every game that’s ever mattered between us. Oh boy oh boy. And to top it off, we get a home playoff game this year and y’all get to go to New Orleans regardless of that early season a--- kicking you gave us. Ahhhhhh

It’s not a meaningless game. Regular season matchups determine playoff seeds. Getting home field is obviously beneficial

Boos you’re once again turning into bias boos, I’m a cheerleader for the Eagles Boos

sometimes its Cousins fault, sometimes its not. tonight it clearly wasn't. d--- near every-time we hiked the ball Smith was in the backfield. that ain't on Cousins.

whether Cousins can lead a team to a Superbowl victory is hard to say. Boos doesn't think he can and that's his personal belief. but QB's like Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer and Nick Foles all won Superbowls. these guys are very clearly inferior to Kirk Cousins. this is just another example of how much of a team game football is.

to answer your question, we need interior offensive lineman and corners. but i'm not going to delve too much into that because we got a playoff game coming up. obviously going to new orleans is tough, but we'll see what happens. i'm excited either way
