Vaguely heard. Really dumb decision if true.

Disagreed. I would normally agree with any other RB though. With McCaffrey, you’re also spending money on basically a slot receiver, as well as a elite rb. And McCaffrey isn’t in the nfl only for the money like Zeke. Zeke got paid, now he’s playing not to get hurt imo. Zeke is lazy. McCaffrey’s stats have been through the roof, consistently. It’d be different, if he was a one year wonder like Barkley. He’s a rare breed. Plus other teams would have paid him good too. No other rb can run and catch like him. And on a consistent level. A running back that good deserves the money, for the damage his body will take the next 4 years. And he’s the face of the panthers team. It’s not like they have a top, elite qb. Teddy doing dump off passes to him will be a major pain for defenses this year. And they got rid of the cancer on their team, Newton. And there is zero running backs that can replace what McCaffrey can do. And he’s a great influence.

Honstly, other than McCaffrey, I can’t think of another rb that I’d trust paying that money. That Gurley deal was bad a few years ago. The Zeke deal was terrible, but Dak isn’t a elite qb.

I like the Ruggs and wentz connection more than Wentz and Lamb tbh. Some analysts thinking lamb is overrated in the draft. Easy to say that though. Ruggs looked the best in the combine. I think a team may take Ruggs earlier than expected.

I'd love for you guys to get Ruggs, you may have to trade up a bit though. I win $65 if Philly drafts him, I put a bunch of $$ on random things for the draft next week since there's nothing else to bet on sports related. So I'm even more hyped than usual for the draft, gonna be fun. Lots of money possibilities for me throughout the 1st round lol.

Hoping the Vikes go OL or WR.

@Kon @TimmyT On some sports shows, it’s being reported the Vikings are in talk with getting Odell Beckham. I feel you guys definitely need another WR, after losing Diggs. It’s clear Odell doesn’t fit in with the browns. His stats with them prove it, along with Baker being garbage. You guys hoping you land Odell? I’m not sure what the Vikings are giving up for him. I see this happening actually.

naw I’d rather they just draft someone, they’d have to make a move to free up cap space to trade for OBJ anyways, also don’t wanna give up a bunch of picks.

Either Ruggs or Lamb or we riot. I think Ruggs is the safer pick but Lamb could be great.

Ayy my dude! I was all in on Lamb until yesterday when I listened to Ray Didinger rave about Ruggs. He said Ruggs is the second ever prospect that he evaluated that he didn’t write down a single con for. The other was Andrew Luck. But yea we need one of those two, and Lamb has the higher upside to me. Need Howie to make a move up, we need to get Wentz weapons. s--- I wouldn’t mind going WR in the first two rounds and snag up a Hamler or Shenault if he ends up falling.

Ruggs speed is mind blowing. Makes him a threat whenever the ball in his hands. People are have been overrating him as of recent though. Lamb & Jeudy are significantly better route runners & much better college tape overall. Y’all gotta grab one of those two if they’re available.

My thinking is that our offense is running at its best when Wentz either gets out of the pocket by design or he does his thing on a broken play, and i think Ruggs and Lamb would work best for us in that scheme. Jeudy is by far the best route runner in the class, but idk if he’s the best fit for our offense. I feel like he’d thrive more in an offense with a classic “pocket passer” who gets the ball out of his hands fast. Don’t get me wrong though, I’d be hype to get him too. I think these three are tier 1 then Jefferson in tier 2 by himself then a bunch of tier 3 guys that would otherwise be first rounders in a normal year.

I’m thinking the Wentz and Ruggs combo could be deadly tbh. Lamb is a runner who can make people miss and a better route runner overall, but the nfl speed and athleticism is on another level. I think Lamb is a bigger risk, but he could end up being the best rookie WR. He’s more athletic overall. It’s hard to predict, with this class stacked with great wideouts.

I’m mostly curious who ends up getting Jonathon Taylor. He was my favorite running back to watch in college, since watching Lesean McCoy at Pitt. JT is an animal. I really hope he doesn’t end up going to the ravens where I was reading he was projecting to go. They already have some running backs.

Also the dolphins. Which they could really use JT. I just don’t want to watch him get put on a s-----y team and have a bad year because of how bad the team is. Surely, they will start to get a little better with all the draft picks they have.
