He has one of the lowest career interception percentages in NFL history & that was true even before this season!!

that's a good graphic. but you know as well as i do it goes deeper than that. the cowboys in dak's early seasons ran the ball a lot and they didn't ask Dak to do a whole lot. aaron rodgers on the other hand has always been on a pass first team--so it's not that simple.

you always seem to have more confidence in Dak than your fellow cowboys fans. most dallas fans i know don't have a high level of confidence in dak. they don't put ALL the blame on Dak--but they think he's one of the main components that holds the cowboys back.

do you think he's unfairly criticized?

100% i thought after losing cousins, you guys would be content with losing and getting high draft pick,..that’s why I was surprised for the trade…considering dobbs is decent and can win couple games…especially with weapons on vikings

Yeah Jacoby and Tyrod Taylor, Colin ahead of him. That would make me feel Dak is even worse. That list is filled with awful qb’s. This is a pointless chart that proves nothing.

2023: Dak 5 int’s currently, Baker Mayfield 4, Russel Wilson 4, Zach Wilson 4 lmfao even worse than I thought

2022: Dak and David Mills had the most int’s, 15. Dak lead the league in int’s last season and cowboy fans wonder why Dak is known as a turnover qb

This has no impact on int percentage though. Whether he threw the ball a lot or little relatively, if he’s turnover prone like the narrative states he is, it would show up in int percentage & it just doesn’t.

PFF also records a stat called “turnover worthy plays” which consists of ints, fumbles, & dropped ints. Dak’s career turnover worthy play percentage is 3%. For reference, Peyton Manning’s is 2.9%; Drew Brees’s is 3%; Josh Allen’s is 3.7% etc. The narrative just isn’t true.

Slow start yes. Will we win? Yes. Burrow had a bum ankle and instead of benching him for backup that was worse than a one legged Burrow, we slogged through the first half until the bye to get the man healthy. The result was a dominant win over San Fran on the road. As shown last year in the Playoffs in Buffalo, Josh Allen isn't our threat to stop us from representing the AFC this year, it's Mahomes.

To be fair, before last year, he had one of the ten lowest percentage of plays that resulted in a turnover in a career, sitting aside folks like Brady, Rodgers, Brees, and funny enough, Romo. He’s one of the least turnover-prone QBs since he’s been drafted, save for last year. I suppose one season can erase people’s memories of six prior years of the career tho :/

Seeing that somebody else has already said that but yeah, Dak just isn’t turnover prone at all. Wonder if it’s at all meaningful that the year he became turnover prone was also the year that his receivers were dropping should-be catches and bopping the ball up into the air and tipping the ball to opposing DBs on eight of his 15 turnovers last year… also after he returned in five weeks after breaking his thumb. Idk. This turnover prone narrative just isn’t it!

I think Dak had something like 6 or 7 ints off tipped passes last season lol. Just a really flukey season combined with having a s-----y WR core.

30-42, 470 yards, 0 interceptions, 5 touchdowns. 14 touchdowns to 1 interception for the season. Stroud broke another record (most single game passing yards by a rookie) and tied the record for most TDs in a single game by a rookie. Not to mention he broke the record for most passing attempts without an interception by a rookie earlier this year.

    Make this guy ROTY already!

Hurts is playing really well this season but if Dak had 8 ints like he did, we wouldn’t hear the end of it & that’s just a fact lol.

Dak’s issue was never turning the ball over too much (outside of last year), just more so turning it over in key situations.

Jalen’s picks this year are mostly outside of his control, bad bounces/drops, much like Dak last year.

Yeah but that level of nuance is never granted to QBs with a star on their helmet & that’s kind of my point lol.

That eagles qb sneak should probably be banned tbh. Too much potential serious injury with helmets colliding and riding on the center while being shoved isn’t football. I do find it funny Belichick couldn’t do it.

Can’t imagine watching Dak this season & believing he’s hold this team back lol.
