Blount carrying deflated football makes it to his advantage. He has more control and less likely to fumble with a deflated ball. Quit trying to make excuses for the patriots that breaking rules are ok.

If the Pats did this, I will be OK with the penalties. Personally, I'd say a suspension of Belichick, a loss of a draft pick, and a heavy fine (mostly because this is their second offense as an organization)

However, it still didn't help them destroy the Colts, or win any game. That's the whole point I'm making.

I think it's pretty ridiculous, because QBs are coming out and saying how they have people "dirty up" the footballs to make them have a grip... Eli Manning, Brad Johnson, Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning have mentioned these things, to name a few.

Drew Bledsoe used to pour milk all over the football before games...Eli Manning dirties them up, and has them stored so NO ONE can touch them.... Aaron Rodgers OVER inflates footballs and waits for officials to deflate them.

The simple solution, is HAVE THE NFL CONTROL THE GAME BALLS!!!

Like, seriously, why does the NFL complicate things so much? This shouldn't even be an issue at all. If you don't want teams to cheat, then administer your own footballs, and have NFL officials handle them...

Show me proof they did this... That's what I want.

I hate NE but they can cheat in the SB for all i care. f--- Seattle. They probably won't be able to get away with anything during the SB though.

Well, thats the point... This doesn't make sense to me... This was an AFC Title Game... If Belichick really authorized this, in front of thousands of phones, hundreds of NFL cameras, officials, and thousands of fans... He's really stupid.

That's why I don't believe it. I was EVIDENCE. Show me some proof... Show me a Patriots staff member deflating footballs.

And that makes him harder to tackle how?

I swear man it's anything to throw dirt on the Pats. Well when you've been winning for 15 years I guess it comes with the territory.

Bill Cowher stole signals. Are you going to accept that? Especially after I provided a direct link and quote?

I'm not denying anything. I just said they should be penalized heavily, but only if the NFL can provide proof that they did this... I've heard all sorts of bs, from Pats haters to Pats fans.

The only concrete stories I've heard are:

    - NFL is investigating allegations
    - 11 of 12 footballs were under inflated
    - 12 "back up" footballs, which were properly inflated, were brought into the game at half time.

Give me concrete evidence instead of theories.

My team won more superbowls than the pats the last 10 years so I could give a s--- less about their regular season records. Especially with the majority of wins coming from their horrible division.

Trent always tends to bring up his past Super Bowl victory's, it's really his only argument.

He conveniently makes a specific time period too...

The past 5 years, I'd say the Pats are a top 4 team in regards to success (Seahawks, Ravens, Pats, 49ers, Giants, Packers), while the Steelers probably don't crack the top 10.

Honestly, it makes my shift go by quicker.

I enjoy a good debate, either way.

I miss the Sports Section on RB though, I won't lie.

Fitz and I have had plenty of legit arguments. One about deflating footballs is hard to discuss. Just don't push someone too hard, they may cry like @Kevin and SNITCH like a b----. Haven't the raiders s----d for 15 plus years now btw? Yeah I thought so.

Wait what? Who did I snitch on? You're so desperate to argue. There is no argument. In case you haven't noticed, professional sports and the 'scandals' surrounding them are hot topic everywhere. They're inflating hype (no pun intended), to draw more attention to the sport. You argue everything like a f---ing 9/11 conspiracy zombie. So spastic and frantic. Take your s--- somewhere else son.

I don't mind Trent that much.

My whole problem is how overhyped each story gets in the media

Spy Gate and Deflate Gate are the two most overblown sports stories ever.

I wish more fans would read the facts instead of being completely ignorant. They look absolutely stupid.

If the Pats did do this they should be penalized severely because they broke a rule.

However, QB's are coming out and saying they alter footballs all the time. OK, so why all of this gray area? How about, YOU'RE NOT ABLE TO ALTER FOOTBALLS? Doesn't that make the most sense here? Why not have the NFL handle the footballs instead of teams? Seems pretty simple to me. If you're able to alter footballs (whether over, under inflated, throwing dirt on it, or wearing it down) why not just make it legal to do ANYTHING to it? It's pretty ridiculous.

Spy Gate was just pure arrogance though. It's legal to video tape signals, but they just told teams to stop doing it in specific areas in the stadium... The Pats ignored it, and got punished. I don't see how it's cheating, but OK.

Anyways. I am not sure who to go for in the Super Bowl, I am still upset about how the Seahawks defeated the Packers in the final ending, but I dislike Brady, he & Manning are my two most hated quarterbacks.

Who would you guys go for if none of these teams where any of your favorites?
