I think Revis will end up having a better career than Sherman. I believe Revis got discouraged with the jets and quit playing all out. He has a new spark with the Pats.

Well, Revis also had a major knee injury, and went to the Bucs, who play more zone, which doesn't fit his style.

Sam Shields, Packers corner who was on Bryant on the over turned catch, said it should of been a catch lol.

Romo also stated on the radio this morning that people are going after the Pats like it's a witch hunt lol and it's ridiculous.

Indeed. Almost forgot about the knee injury. But yeah, the Bucs didn't use him right. I was honestly pissed him having to play for them. I didn't want a Pitt product to get his rep ruined. Then I have a bunch of Sandusky and Paterno d-ck riders (Penn State fans) coming at my throat for dissing their team.

So I believe with the pats, and with their defense building that his numbers are only going to get better these next few years. I'll be highly surprised in a few years if Sherman is on top of Revis.

I mean, I like both Revis and Sherman, I love Sherman's intensity and his play making abilities. To me, he plays more like a safety than a cornerback though, which could be argued he's an overall better player than Revis then, because I definitely think he's more versatile, in that aspect. For Seattle, it's kind of like having another elite safety, with the abilities of a shut down cornerback...However, I don't think Sherman is a lock down, man to man cover cornerback like Revis. I think Revis' is in another league when it comes to his man to man cover skills.

Revis is just so impressive to me. You can tell him to cover ANY option, and they basically disappear. There's really only a HANDFUL of cornerbacks I can say I've seen with that ability. He has the ability to change a defense, if you choose to put him man to man. Zone is different because it's more team oriented, man to man is more about your own ability... Hopefully that explains my stance on it.

Zone isn't necessarily easier to play, I just think it's more comfortable to play, by the way. There's more responsibilities given, but I think it doesn't take as much talent as man to man coverage...

It's basically, which would you want? Someone who can make a side of a field disappear vs someone who makes your best option disappear. Not to say both don't play well in zone or man, but I think, as far as the cornerback position, they excel at opposite philosophies.

I really hope the Pats break bank for Revis and McCourtey. Obviously, Revis more, but McCourtey is extremely important to their defense, too.

I don't think it would matter. No matter what the NFL does at this point, the media already let the story get too big, and carry on too long. If the Patriots win or lose I think we'll be hearing about this for a while. Especially on social media. If they win, it'll be "They cheated to get there, again", and if they lose it'll be " The Patriots prove again the can't win without cheating". It's been almost a decade since spygate, and that still comes up every year. The Patriots get the Suh treatment from nonfans. No benefit of the doubt, and even if the NFL steps in and says we were wrong, or we overreacted, it won't matter.

EDIT: And just a couple hours after I posted this, it begins: http://pjmedia.com/lifestyle/2015/01/23/deflated-patriots-statistically-impossible-fumble-record/

The depth people are willing to go through to discredit literally anything sports related, is insane.

EDIT 2: Where is the reason for edit option? b------s.

Yeah, it definitely feels like a lose/lose situation for the Pats through the eyes of the public. It's really a shame, because the organization, players and coaches really don't deserve it at all.

Holy s---, Bill Belichick with the GOAT press conference today. I just gained a ton of respect for him after that.

Honestly, I've never wanted the Pats to win a game so badly..... I feel like their entire brand is on the line in this game.

Worst super bowl lead up ever. I don't give a f--- about if a ball was deflated or not. Doesn't change the fact the players still have to execute. It's just the fact they "cheated" that annoys me. But can't everyone else just move on? This is the best match up in the big game that I can remember in quite some time

Pats hardly did anything wrong, 2 psi is nothing. Also, Colts would have had to score some points with their own balls to even make a difference. TBQH I am sitting back and kind of enjoying watching people lose their s--- over this though.

I'm starting to think Pats didn't do anything wrong.

During Spy Gate, Belichick IMMEDIATELY admitted what he did, and was very thorough with his explanation.

Today, Belichick denied, and went into detail about everything. He said they've been doing experiments with the league, and they've determined the PSI's could have been dropped NATURALLY.

People can call Bill a lot of things, but I doubt he'd lie about this, especially making public statements about it.
