Lol Revis. Redsoxx doesn't seem as mad as I thought he would. Does anyone know the exact difference the Jets offered Revis compared to the Pats??? @Kon ? Revis is my favorite defensive player in the nfl, but him going from the pats to the jets in the same division pisses me off. If it was a huge difference I guess I couldn't blame him.

Does fitz post much after the Super Bowl ? @Fitz what's been going on buddy? Your night shift should be starting soon and am interested on your take on the whole Revis ordeal. Do you believe the pats should have done more to keep Revis or do you think he's being too overpaid? Man am i f---ing pissed at the steelers not even showing any interest in Revis even when they're desperate for a cornerback.

Pats offered 35 M guaranteed and supposedly the Jets were over 40 guaranteed.

Revis was always gonna take the most money, im pissed the Pats didnt match the Jets offer but im not that surprised they didnt.

I just don't see how Revis can do that going from winning a Super Bowl to Brady taking a pay cut hoping to keep him only for him to taking the money. It makes me think less of him as a person especially for what Brady did to try and keep him. Even if pats offered the 35 million and if the jets are at like 41 or 42 million, I believe that's still selfish of Revis. Maybe he just likes New York a lot more or has more friends there. Plus he's probably a player that now that he has a Super Bowl ring he just wants to play for the money. I guess I can't really blame him there. Idk still disappointed overall.

Raiders just signed an RB that wasn't Murray. Jags are front runners at this point but Murray was just spotted at Mavs game in Dallas so god knows..... Lol

@tm87 here are the contract details.

Tom Pelissero ‏@TomPelissero 4m4 minutes ago
Darrelle Revis contract: 5 years, $70M, $39M fully guaranteed. He gets $33M in first two years, $48M in first three. Welcome back, Woody.

Also I saw you mention Fitz, I don't think he checks here anymore but I did see him mention this on facebook and he wasn't happy, think he wanted them to keep Revis pretty badly.

Wait, jags looking to get Murray too? d--- they are really turning s--- around. @M.I.C. What do you think the jags need to do to get Murray ? Do you want him or will that f--- up their cap space too much?

@Kon you should message fitz on FB and tell him the nfl thread has some interesting discussion recently and worth checking out wen he's bored at work or whatever. I miss talking sports with the guy lol.

Considering the Eagles paid Maxwell 60 mill for 6 years, I don't think 70 mill for 5 years for Revis (a much better corner) is all that bad.

I wanted him before we overspent on Julius and threw a ton of money around today, I wouldn't hate it because it'd take a tremendous amount of pressure off Bortles but at the same time, investing that much money in a RB is scary to me. Would probably rather try and stick with Denard as the main back and mix in some change of pace guys.

Yeah man I like the idea of him taking a lot of pressure off of Bortles, but I definitely think they can get by well without him. Murray is just going to get paid way too much money after only one spectacular year. He's not that young and really hasn't proven himself other than one year. Someone will overpay for Murray and regret it a year or 2 later, IMO. Has anyone signed Reggie Bush yet? That would be a good fit for the jags I believe. I'm sure some team already signed him by now though.

Today I heard Saints, Pats, and 49ers all interested, but I don't think any offers have been thrown out yet.

Well after 49ers losing Gore I think Bush would most benefit the 49ers. Pats having him as a 3rd down back would be pretty scary.

Aren't the lions giving him any offers? I thought he did well for them last year. I enjoy watching Bush. Entertaining player who I believe definitely has some productive years left.

Coming to grips with the fact Bradford will probably be our QB until he inevitably gets hurt. This blows. Why Chip Why?

Lmao 49ers might not resign Perrish Cox. He was like the one and only shinning star in that secondary. 49ers are just f---ing up all around.

Cowboys should def jump on that tbh.... Wouldn't be to expensive either.

Hopefully he tears his ACL in OTAs and we can just roll with Sanchez again.
