    You're missing the whole point.

As an individual, you have the right to feel however you want about Adrian. I can assure you there are people who dislike him more than you do. But Peterson is just ONE guy and in no way, shape or form represents the TEAM. You've liked the Vikings for several years before Adrian became a Viking, and you're considering not rooting for a TEAM because of what ONE guy did? Lolololol. This reminds me of what Tad did in 2009 when Favre became a Viking.

Not considering it, it's a sure thing. I don't want to support Peterson in any way. He'd be the best player on the team, the biggest story every time with the team and the face of the team, can't exactly ignore him. It's not like he's some random player on special teams. I'm not picking another team, I'll just follow the rest of the NFL and be a fan again when he's gone.

But yeah I didn't expect this to happen over one guy either but it did.

Yea that's nuts, I don't think anything could possibly make me not root for my favorite teams unless they moved cities or something

Lol whatever, don't see why it's so hard to understand considering what he did. Some things are bigger than football. Just can't morally support him in any way and I don't want to. If it wouldn't be such a big story and he wasn't a top player then it might be different since it'd be easier to ignore.

That's cool. I can't change your mind and I'm not trying to. But if we were talking about an individual sport, like boxing or tennis, I'd understand your position. But football is a TEAM sport, and one player doesn't outweigh a team--no matter how good he is.

I'd NEVER consider not rooting for a team over what one guy did---s--- like that makes people question your fan-hood.

Okay, well like I said I'll still support the players I like and hope they do well, just can't be a Vikings fan when he's obviously the most popular player on the team and this distraction would be there all year.

Vintage Timmy pulling the 'question fanhood' card again though...Over half of Laker fans are pulling for losses right now, guess none of them are real fans according to you since you're against tanking and 'questioned my fanhood' over that too.

*edit* also I've liked the Vikings since I was 4 or 5, a lot longer than several years before AP. I take back me hating him though, that's not true and I don't really hate anyone. Just don't want to and can't support him. Still stand behind the rest of my comments though.

Let's be honest though @Kon if AP did stay on the Vikings next year and he had a crazy year which some how lead to you guys making a playoff run, you'd be rooting for the team on the low

Too early to say, but possibly. There'd definitely be some mixed feelings.

Luckily I'm pretty sure they're gonna trade him or cut him so I shouldn't have to worry.

The Browns reportedly offered the Eagles a 1st round pick for Sam Bradford. If Mariota falls to #12 there will almost certainly be a trade. *fingers crossed*

Eagles will reportedly sign Tim Tebow to be their third string QB if they can trade Matt Barkley.

^I bet the Eagles would win 9-10 games and make the playoffs with Tebow starting. Wouldn't be pretty but he'd get it done.

Well didn't he win 9 games and make the playoffs as the starter for the Broncos? I think this Eagles team will be more talented than that one after the draft. :dno:

Waiting for this Tebow signing like... :work:

    Tebow should stick to TV.

Cowboys have agreed to terms with Greg Hardy

Yeah Arch he had one decent run when he was a newbie, doesn't mean it'd happen again.
