I know literally directly from NFL players who smoke weed that unless you're trapped in the system coming into the league or early on (like Josh Gordon) you only get tested for recreational substances once a year. The rest of the tests are for PED's. And if you're not stupid, you have "a guy" who tells you well before you're about to get tested (for recreational). Most of the NFL is smoking weed/doing recreational drugs, the league will catch you if they want to.

    Some GOAT news for me.

Following up on @CharlesRobinson's story -- Adrian Peterson's agent did indeed decline a dinner invite from Vikings GM Rick Spielman.

The issue for Adrian Peterson is Kevin Warren. That the Vikings promoted him to COO was and is a problem. And so Peterson still wants out.

Thank God for Kevin Warren. Not gonna get too excited until it's official but this makes me optimistic at least, was starting to have real concerns that Peterson would stay in Minnesota. Wish they'd get this over with asap even if they don't get much in return.

This is kind of dumb tbh. You don't have a proven starting QB, why would you value RB's over WR's?

hubris, mixed with nearly a hand full of WRs having career years in his system so he probably believes he can do it with anybody.

you're right they don't have a proven starting QB, but i think Bradford will surprise people if they can just keep him upright.

you also gotta keep in mind that chip has an unorthodox way of doing things.....

Good choice on his part. Prob the only place where he would be a starter. Every where else he is prob a situational pass rusher

Exactly. He was the one in the wrong, did something terrible, and admitting to smoking weed during his court case. And now he has a grudge against the Vikings because he had to sit out most of the season because of his actions? I just don't get it. He still acts like beating the s--- out of his kid was no big deal. If an average citizen did what he did they'd be in jail.

Former player and NFL Network analyst Darren Sharper is pleading guilty to all of his sexual assaults. Facing nine years in prison. What a moron.

Frank Gore said Eagles QB's were why he didn't sign with us. Not getting Gore isn't a loss at all its just whatever

Agreed. Gore wouldn't have helped the Eagles out much. They will be glad they didn't sign him, after this season.

Gore shunning the Eagles was such a blessing in disguise. If he signs no way in h--- we get Murray OR Mathews.

I think he's mad cuz he feels the Vikings 'didn't publicly support him' during that time or whatever. But I have no idea what he's referring to cuz every comment I heard anyone from the Vikings say about him was positive. If I was a Vikings fan that actually wanted him to stay on the team, I'd be pretty pissed at how he thinks he's been 'disrespected' and wants to leave now over a mess he created and he made worse. Instead most of these fans (and most of the Vikings personnel too) seem to be kissing his a--- begging him to return. It's ridiculous.

God I hope they get rid of him so f---in bad.

^Yea I agree with you, especially considering he's 30 now and will definitely be on the downside of his career. If they could get a 1st round pick for him I'd say go for it.

I'd take anything, do it for a 5th round pick for all I care, just get it done. He's not worth the money anyways since like you said, he'll be on the downside of his career very soon if not already.

I could argue the Eagles would have been better off with Gore x Matthews instead of Murray.

    But f--- Gore
