yeah not to go too off topic since we are in sports but i tend to just stay in here for the most part. you go into misc or whatever and its weirdos like jmg, grown men playing school on a forum pretty much.

at least the people in here are cool even though we b---- at each other about sports and are sometimes assholes lol

Chris Wesseling of NFL.com provided additional details:

Dogra is not demanding a trade yet, rather expressing his dissatisfaction with the organization. Peterson's camp believes he deserves "face of the franchise" guaranteed money, along the lines of a premier quarterback, per Rapoport.

    :'( :'(

No idea why anybody would still support this douche.

I still think you not wanting him to be on the team has A LOT more to do with the incident with his son than whether or not he's worth how much he'll be getting paid at 30 years old. Because let's be real, you probably wouldn't be saying "he's not worth the money at his age" if the incident with his son never happened.

And even if you don't think it's in the best interest for the Vikings to keep him because of how much money he'll be making at his age, it makes NO SENSE to say "do it for a 5th round pick" because that would mean the Vikings wouldn't be getting a fair trade/exchange. JMG must have hacked your account.

The reality is, even at Peterson's age, trading a player of his caliber won't be easy. They already said they aren't going to cut him. So that only leaves 2 options. He remains on the team or you trade him. In order to trade him, you need a trading partner, and one that is going to give up something of equal value.

His value keeps decreasing the more he and his agent speak, I was exaggerating a bit with the 5th round pick but a 3rd or 4th is probably not too much of a stretch.

Johnny MANziel is expected to participate in offseason workouts beginning April 20th after he completes more than two months of treatment!

So was Manziel on some hard s---? Like heroin for having to stay in rehab that long. He definitely wasn't in rehab for only alcohol that long. I do remember the benzo rumor that he was addicted to zanny bars or whatever. I have read benzo withdrawal is more severe than opiate withdrawal, if you're on a benzo for years or more. He may have started the habit back in early college. Pop a few bars and drink with them. Great combo for when you're young. Great drinking experience too and pretty much guaranteed a blackout drunk.

Honestly dont think it was anything serious, probably just still drinking like a college kid. Also think it was more the teams decision then his, plus those 5 star rehab facilities are like going on vacation anyways.

Manziel's drinking isn't even the problem, it's his crappy attitude. He seems to be coasting already and he hasn't done a thing in the NFL. He always seems to say the right things but never does them, hoping for the Browns' sake he can turn it around and get focused.

2 months definitely wasn't just for drinking lol. He was definitely on something pretty hard IMO. But yeah, I'm sure his rehab was like a few months of vacation for him. I still don't think it's worth quitting drinking and mixing whatever just to make your figure look good in football.

2 months does seem weird for drinking but like redsoxx says this seems more like a Browns/PR stunt. We'll see. Judging by the Richie Incognito texts pretty much everyone on the Dolphins drinks and does drugs every night so idk there's obviously more of a spotlight on Johnny's life.

i dont think manziel will ever get his s--- together and even if he does, i dont think he'll ever be a starting qb and we wont hear from him a few years from now.

I wouldn't mind seeing Manziel do good for the Browns tbh. I just hate how the media always only focuses on 1 or 2 nfl players for partying or doing drugs or whatever. When in reality, almost every NFL player parties and does drugs on the weekends.

Really hoping Johnny gets the help he needs in rehab and he can be the player we all know he can be. I'm tired of this same QB situation every year so hoping Johnny is our guy. If not we'll be drafting another one in the first round next year. It's hard being a Browns fan but I gotta be optimistic. We have a decent young team. Just need to keep building on what we have.

March is a little early for the Pats to have the Jets this rattled, but i'll take it.
