Can't lie, I'm happy the Raiders are now projected to draft Leonard Williams out of USC over a WR. I think Derek Carr needs weapons, but Wlliams is just too good to pass up. He's the 2nd best player IMO, but I may be a little biased. (I cheer for USC)

Also I'm watching sportscenter and they're showing like 2 minutes of baseball mascots dancing and even analyzing who the best dancers are....we desperately need football back.

The Raiders really have to start drafting better. I don't know the exact number, but the Raiders have had like 12 or 13 consecutive losing seasons

Khalil Mack and Derek Carr are for real tho. This past draft is the only draft we've had in my memory where our first few picks actually pan out and have great rookie seasons. We also stole TJ Carrie late in the draft. Carr was Mark Davis' guy, but Reggie McKenzie actually had a decent-to-good draft last year. He hasn't shown me much regarding offseason signings tho. Last season he brought in a bunch of veterans on big contracts, (Tuck, Woodley, etc.) but this offseason the Raiders decided to go younger. We still couldn't pull in any big names.... Trent Richardson? Really Oakland? I get it as a 1-and-done, prove yourself type of deal, but I thought we had the cap room to spend on big names. I guess we saved it for next year. Hopefully things start turning around in the next few seasons... I think Del Rio was a step in the right direction.

Just realized I kinda vented about the Raiders haha. I kinda have to... I don't think a team I like has ever pissed me off more.

I can explain....
Heat started when I was little and Dwyane Wade came into the league... I guess you could call a 10 year old a bandwagoner when they won it all in 06, but I have stuck with them through it all.
I like the Raiders because my dad is a diehard Raiders fan. Same goes for USC. It all started back when he loved Marcus Allen. He's also a Clippers and Angels fan, but I guess he didn't force them on me as much as the Raiders when I was little haha.
As for the Cardinals, IDK how he got me into them, but I know it had to do something with Mark McGuire. Loved him as a little kid. Same goes for Pujols. When he went to the Angels I was pretty salty, but I understood.
I cheer on USC, but I don't have a solid favorite. I go to Northern Iowa, so they're #1 if I had to pick. I cheer for a lot of different college teams.

I'm from Iowa. Not too many sports teams.... Why do I have to like a team from my hometown anyways? I hate when people try telling me that.

MOST people do root for their hometown team(s). However, some people are from places that don't have any professional teams. Those people usually root for the professional team that is closest to them. For example, I'm originally from and currently live in Virginia. We don't have any professional teams--therefore most people from Virginia root for the Redskins (some like the Ravens)

It is unusual for someone to like teams from all different places the way MiamiDWade3 does, so I can understand why redsoxx would ask about it, but there's nothing wrong with it either. The important thing is to pick a team and stick with them.

I've stuck with every team I've liked as long as I've watched sports. If I'm still a Raiders fan, I can stick through it all lol.

Been getting pumped for the draft lately.

yeah i mean as long as you stick with those teams its not really a big deal to me but obviously when you get a "fan" jumping from team to team its bs

and all i am anticipating is the f---ing draft right now, want to see chip pull something out of his a--- at this draft

Le'Veon Bell has been suspended for the first three games of the regular season for violating leagues substance abuse policy. But he's appealing it. That sucks though; because he's one of the best young RB's in the league and obviously very important to Steelers offfense.

d---, when's the NFL gonna stop kicking out some of it's best players just for some weed in the offseason? It'll be legal everywhere soon enough, wonder if they'll eventually lighten their stance on it cuz of that.

Bell got arrested with LeGarrette Blount last year when they were both on the Steelers. Blount was let off with 50 hours of community service and suspended for the first game of the season. I believe they found a substantial amount of weed in Bell's car, i think almost an ounce. So i assume thats why he got the 3 games.
