NFL trying to suspend the GOAT so it'll make things more fair. Well played NFL, well played.

Although, if Tom is suspended 8 games, his return game will be against the Giants.

Guess I'm not watching his return game.

On a more serious note, you do agree he deserves to be suspended right? Lol. I think 8 games is pretty harsh but a 2-4 game suspension I think is fair.

4 games is ridiculous, a game max is what it should be.

Ben Roethlisberger r---d a chick and got 4 games, Ray Rice KO'd a chick and got 2, Ray Lewis killed a guy and got nothing. But they are talking 6-8 for more "probably then not" telling someone to deflate a ball? fuuuuuck outta my face with that NFL.

Give him a game for lying and be done with it because they still dont have a smoking gun.

I bet it ends up in the 2-4 game range, although I don't think he deserves more than a game.

2 wrongs don't make a right bruh.... Obviously Ben deserved a longer suspension, Ray was never charged with anything (even though we all know he likely did it) and that's why he wasn't punished. I don't think deflating footballs is a huge deal but it's still a form of altering the game to your advantage as small as that is. 2-4 game suspension I think is fair considering he was aware and lied.

In a 16 game season, 4 would be ridiculous.

Brady is a veteran player, one of the biggest faces in NFL, one of the greatest players to ever play the game, he should know better. 4 games would be completely fair especially given the Patriots history.

Nah it would be a fucken joke.

And why exactly is Brady being tied to spygate? he had nothing to do with that.

Sorry but texts between Bevis and Butthead in now way should get Brady suspended that long.

    Tough for me to say.

Honestly, there's no proof he knew anything, it's all circumstancial. You can't just punish a guy because he MIGHT have done something.

However, with-holding evidence for an investigation? Sure, he should be punished for that. Do I think it automatically says he did it? No. He could have nudes on his phone or OTHER types of texts he doesn't want getting out...

However, with-holding evidence should be a FINE.

SpyGate and DeflateGate are two totally different entities.

SpyGate, Bill Belichick IMMEDIATELY came out and admitted his wrong doing. He handed over evidence and was dealt with justly. I'm not going to argue how much it helped or anything, but there was evidence and admission.

There's nothing about DeflateGate that is concrete, AT ALL. I know the public wants Brady's head right now, but honestly, he could have NOT known anything.

I honestly think Brady told the ball boys he wanted the balls at the lowest they possibly could go, and didn't really give it anymore thought.

The thing that pisses me off about most casual fans who NEVER played a down of organized football in their lives is they think that Bill Belichick's entire preparation for games revolved around decoding defensive signals, or Brady spent all of this time caring about balls being deflated.

Guaranteed, both instances are so SMALL in their lives, they probably thought nothing of it (especially DeflateGate)... SpyGate was a practice that has been going on in the NFL for decades, and in 2007, Goodell told teams to stop, but Belichick didn't listen...

He should get the same type of punishment that Bret Favre got when he with-held his cell phone to an investigation.

I think it was only a fine..

Granted, both cases are different, but I still see it in the same light.

I can't take the actual case of Brady "probably" knowing something serious.

    I say a big fine. That's it.

However, Goodell will probably over-react about it.

I feel like Eli and the Giants are due to just squeeze into the playoffs and then make another SB run.
