I hope they don't let Belichick and Kraft off the hook. The Patriots have lied and hindered the investigation every step of the way. They want to say they cooperated fully when 2 of the 3 main people involved were either held from answering questions by the Patriots (McNally) or refusing to cooperate (Brady). The fake outrage from the Patriots is a joke.

NFL is a joke as far as how they run the league. It's highly successful because of the game itself, but the way in which they handle protocol is awful.

How about instead of allowing teams to handle the footballs, the NFL handles them?

People need to realize that all teams "cheat" or try to find a competitive advantage in some way. It's just the nature of the game.

Off the top of my head, I can name incidents where MOST teams have "cheated" in the last 15 years. Pats just get slammed because of how successful they are though.

Giants (fake injuries), Steelers (tomlin trip), Vikings (heat balls), Panthers (heat balls), Patriots (spygate deflategate), Dolphins (stealing radio signals), Chargers (stickum and field goal), Cowboys (cap), Redskins (cap), Browns (text), Falcons (fake crowd), Saints (bountygate), Colts (fake crowd), Packers (illegal gloves), Broncos (spygate), Seahawks (PEDs), Jets (coach tripping)

It's like in school if one person gets caught cheating even though 15 students did it, it's still the one who gets caught who's punished. Then if the next one to get caught is also the same person, then you start to wonder just how often he's been doing it. That's the main argument here imo, how often have the Pats done this and what else have they done.

I don't think most people care about the deflated footballs but it's just the idea of being caught twice and wondering how often they've done something similar.

Will more than likely be reduced to 2 with appeal imo. If not maybe another team from the division will win it but I doubt it. Last I checked the Pats schedule is pretty easy anyway
