Kevin Kolb... Forgot about that POS. The sad thing is, teams never learn either. It happens a lot w/ teams thirsty for QB's.

Pats have Garoppolo under contract for 3 more years, i dont think it matters how he plays during Brady's suspension they still wont need to extend him.

And if teams want to over pay for him in a trade it wont be with a 2016 first rounder because the Pats would have to give that pick up. Another lame thing about the penalty is that if they acquire a 1st round pick they have to give up the better of the picks and considering they will probably be picking at the end of the 1st round, ya it doesnt make sense for them.

That's what I'm saying I could see a team trading for him and giving up alot if he plays well. Would be wise for the Pats to hold onto him though considering Brady is gonna be 38 this year.

Jimmy G is the real f---ing deal. Out of any backup for Brady, he's the MOST like Brady that I've seen. Fast release, great pocket presence, mobile, very accurate, great decision making.

I can't wait to watch him with Gronk, Edelman, LaFelle, Chandler.

His pre-season was so impressive, and I watched him in training camp. Under Belichick, he's gonna shine.

Id be worried about the patriots secondary more than the qb situation to be honest.

True. Except, I like the transition they're making with the front 7. I think they're going to do more zone this year. They're going to rely more on the pass rush.

So some guys actually started a gofundme to raise money to help pay off the Pats' fine lol. I'm guessing the fine is the least of their worries.

Pats are 2nd time offenders within the same decade though. That's why their penalty is more harsh (just talking about the fine and draft picks taken away).

2nd time offenders plus they apparently didn't cooperate too well during this whole thing.

Heard the GOAT has the GOAT legal team assembled. No way this sticks at 4 games.

They are going to have to run a lot of zone. I don't think they have the guys to man up on a consistent basis. The pass rushers will have there workout cut out for them

The Pats in 2007 were first time offenders, and so were the 2010 Broncos... As far as in regards to my first example.

The Pats deal with heavier penalties, simply because they're so successful. The NFL must've been salivating at the opportunity to level the playing field by suspending Brady and taking away draft picks on BOTH occassions.

Agreed. The main thing with zone is having good safety help and good pass rush. Hopefully they can keep everything in front of them, and make QB's hold on to the ball a little longer to get sacks or rushes.

Honestly, I REALLY like our front 7. Unlike the years with poor secondaries where we had no safety and no pass rushers. This year, we have both, so hopefully it helps.

That defense will prob be closer to bend but not break. Prob give up a good chunk of yardage but will find ways to hold teams to field goals and timely turnovers

Bet this suspension ends up helping the Pats in the end, Brady will be more rested for the playoffs and Jimmy G will get to handle training camp, preseason and the start of the regular season as if he's the number 1 QB, he'll probably learn a lot from this.

Plus the Pats will likely be at least .500 during this time still.

All I know is the suspension better be reduced. Even if it's just one game
