    all i was saying is i remember there being some question marks about him during the draft and some teams appeared hesitant to take him because of character concerns

    i love the way your coach responded to all of this. you could tell he was genuinely concerned about him as a PERSON and not just a football player. he said aldon won't have to fight this battle alone and they plan to be in his corner.

    yeah i thought Jimmy T handled the press conference with class. Not only did he seem genuinely concerned for Smith but also encouraged anyone to seek help. Hes come along way from his introductory presser. I've always loved Tomsula as our Dline coach. Just hope he's a competent HC.

    I wish but those were the Andy Reid days. Chip Kelly will cut anyone with any "thug" tendencies.

    arch....are you still not confident in bradford? a while back you expressed that you didn't like him at all....has that changed any since time has passed?

    No I don't like him at all. But deep down I'm hoping he proves me wrong. Mark Sanchez looked surprisingly good in this offense last year. I'm hoping maybe Bradford's 1st overall talent will finally shine through. I'm guessing either that happens and he'll be comeback player of the year. Or he'll get hurt again or benched and his career will be over. There will be no middle ground.

    i think bradford will play well. everyone knows he's injury prone, but what people forget is that he was playing really well up until he got hurt the last time. plus the eagles system fits his style. it's a good fit.

    I hope you're right. Foles has way better career stats than Bradford though and makes $12 million/year less, which is why I still don't get the move.

    the thing about foles is you only have that 2013 season to judge him on. now i'm not sayin foles won't play well for the rams. i'm just saying one season isn't enough to crown a guy. look how great RG3 appeared after his rookie year.....2 years later he's on the verge of losing his job

    plenty of nfl players have one good season.....but when you're CONSISTENT.....that's how you know the player is the real deal

    True. Foles looked good last year too before getting hurt. He has a 14-4 record as a starter in the NFL. I'm gonna miss that guy. He fought his a--- off for us every week.

    Yeah idk how to feel about the upcoming season. Part me thinks because they were such a circus show with Trestman last year that they could suprise everyone and be a 8+ win team, but I have this terrible feeling we'll finish last in the division.

    I think you guys will be very competitive. You brought in Lord Fangio as your DC and Ed Donatell as your DB coach. Two of the best at their jobs. Defense will be fine. The big question is can Adam Gase save Cutlers career.

    Yeah that's always what our season hinges on. He's had so many different coaches with him, hopefully it clicks with Fox and Gase. I've heard nothing but good things about Fangio, and honestly the D can't get any worse so I'm excited to see the impact he has.
