Yeah s-----y news and it looks like he has a legit chance to miss the entire season. I'm expecting a 5-7 win season and possible last place division finish.

what's the general consensus over in the US with the media and fans e.t.c as to whether he will make the cut?

Nah nobody is talking about a guy who might make the cut of the 49ers. It really isnt a story here. I'm sure it's a big story in Australia, but preseason success should be taken with a grain of salt. A lot of the time you're going against 2nd or 3rd stringers.

other than john sullivan, he's our best offensive lineman. and he's also a very good run blocker. tremendous loss.

and yes, our offensive line struggled last year, but i was still very confident in them up until this injury to loadholt

it'll be interesting to see if we look to sign someone---maybe evan mathis?

Same here. But I wouldn't mind seeing Bradford and Murray rest until the third preseason game. Would like to keep those two fresh and healthy.

Bradford hasn't played in nearly 2 years. He needs to be on the field more than just one game, since no one plays in the fourth preseason game really

Really excited for the defense this year. With all the depth we have at LB, and the young guys at corner, I think we are capable of having a top 10 defense this year

I think they'll test out Clemmings for the next couple preseason games before signing someone like Mathis. They'll want to see what they have in Clemmings before signing a one year multi-million dollar deal for 33 year old guard.

yeah, well that's what i expected them to do. but you can't expect much from a ROOKIE offensive lineman.

this will likely make things a lot tougher on peterson, as loadholt is a great run blocker. that said, peterson has obviously been very special so maybe he'll be able to overcome this, too.

Panthers WR Kelvin Benjamin out for the season with a torn ACL

Big loss for the Panthers because he had 1,000 yards receiving last season as a ROOKIE. Plus the Panthers don't have many other weapons on offense

Raiders just lost WR Andre Holmes for 3-4 weeks with fractured bones in his hand. Thank god it's not for longer. I figure that not many people on here watched Raiders last season, but Holmes was one of the funnest WR's to watch on the Raiders. He is a big athletic guy who has big play ability and made some big catches for us. One of my favorite WR's on the roster. Probably #2 behind Cooper already lol.
