I guess you missed the part where I said the Rams are competitive with every team in that division & split with the Seahawks last year... I'm not saying they will make the playoffs but it wouldn't surprise me to see them grab a wild card spot.

Saw that and immediately said Patton is gone now. Then he goes and blocks a punt, then scored a TD and totally redeems himself.

Standard or PPR? How many do you start? Flex?

@TimmyT I was just able to catch the Raiders vs. Vikings game last night. Been busy with moving back to college and s---. But wow. I don't have much to say about the Vikings because I was focusing heavily on the Raiders, but boy does Cooper look good or what. He is the weapon Carr needs. And I think they have a chance to do some damage this year. Khalil Mack looks like he could be a potential defensive player of the year candidate. He will be the focal point of defense this season. I'm extremely impressed with him and Cooper. Our young talent is looking great outside of DJ Hayden, who looks like he doesn't deserve to be on a roster. He better pick up his s--- and start contributing or he won't make it through the year. Our secondary is scary bad. Latavius Murray is kinda a weird guy. I have no idea what to expect from him with his first year of a full load of carries. He's looked good/great in two preseason games but he's hardly got any touches.

As for the great Christian Ponder.... f--- the Vikings for dumping his a--- and letting him sign with us. I can't stand this guy. You know he's bad when I want McGloin to be the backup over him. McGloin hasn't actually looked that bad either. But Ponder.... Jesus Christ. Give me John Kitna over this f---.

Pats don't really need him, Packers probably do. Wouldn't really care either way.

lol yeah, ponder was a swing and a BIG miss for the vikings. one of his main problems is he looks to take-off and run too quickly. if his first and second reads aren't there he's off to the races. he's just not patient enough. he was an awful draft pick and its clear we reached for him. but QB's are very difficult to draft. probably the hardest position to draft other than maybe cornerbacks

    Nice squad.

Charles and Edelman are great ppr guys and I think Spillman will have a nice season now that he's with the Saints. He's on my draft radar if he's there at 4th or 5th round. That's great value for him, and he may slip with his latest injury which shouldn't be a concern for his fantasy status.

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...eason-god-meant-for-jordy-nelson-to-get-hurt/

When Packers receiver Jordy Nelson suffered a serious knee injury in Sunday’s preseason game, it intensified the already prevalent questions around the league about whether it’s time to cut back on the preseason. But one NFL player believes that there’s no point in doing that.

Lions safety Glover Quin said today that God will decide every player’s fate, and changing the NFL’s preseason schedule can’t change that.

“I hated Jordy got hurt, but in my beliefs, and the way I believe, it was — God meant for Jordy to get hurt,” Quin said. “So if he wouldn’t have got hurt today, if he wouldn’t have played in that game, if he wouldn’t have practiced anymore, and the next time he walked on the field would have been opening day, I feel like he would have got hurt opening day. So in that sense, now they’ve got three weeks to make adjustments and prepare before opening day, as opposed to it happening opening day and now you’re in the season and now Jordy gets hurt. It happening in the preseason, you hate that it happened, but that gives them time to make adjustments and try to find something.”

Quin is entitled to believe that God decides everything that will happen on a football field, but if we follow his logic, where do we stop? Should the NFL not bother with any player safety rules because God will decide which players get hurt? Should NFL teams not bother having doctors on the sidelines because God will decide which players to heal?

Although Quin made clear that he respects Nelson and feels badly for any fellow player who gets hurt, his comments don’t make a lot of sense. The NFL has an obligation to take steps to keep players safe, and it would be wrong for the league to simply shrug off injuries as God’s will.

d--- it, Russell. You caused this.

I'm not really sure he sees the field tbh. I don't blame him for coming to the Pats, he was probably sick of getting killed by them for a decade.

Btw you can't possibly still think that Brady's suspension is sticking at 4 games can you? assuming you've payed attention to how things went for the NFL in court so far(you probably haven't). Judge Berman basically called the Wells Report completely useless and biased.
