I'm a Vikings fan but d---, can't help but lol @ both teams right now, this is ugly....

Niners are probably playing slightly better, at least they had a decent offensive position or 2, Vikes really haven't. But it's still tied and they haven't done s---, so gotta improve at some point.

Teddy's pass to Wallace was perfect, too bad he couldn't catch that. Probably should have been a penalty but oh well, Vikes still can't do s--- on offense overall.

Giants/Vikings on Monday night football a few years back with Josh Freeman for the Vikes and I think someone besides Eli for the giants, don't remember for sure. But it was ugly like this for almost the whole game but especially the first half lol, anyone who saw that will know what I mean.

well, pretty sloppy half for both teams. niners did a little better than we did. we need to get peterson the ball more than we did in the first half. need the run defense to tighten up a bit. and teddy has to not be too conservative. he's looking like checkdown charlie out there

Teddy looked bad almost all night, he usually plays a lot better than this. Vikings are done unless they get a turnover here before the niners score, very poor first game overall.

I love that Dilfer has mentioned everything I said during OTAs, training camp and pre season. Move Kaep outside the pocket, fast tempo, feed Hyde. OL zone blocking would let Hyde excel.

obviously not a good showing for us, but i'm not as pissed as you'd think i'd be based on tonights performance.

the main thing they've gotta improve on is run defense. last season, our defense improved tremendously, but we were still shaky against the run. that was the biggest problem tonight. too many yards for hyde.

bridgewater did OK. he missed some throws, but he got better as the game went along. i thought the offensive line did a good job considering 2 starters are out.

pass rush could have been better.

i'm disappointed, but i really feel like they'll come out and play a lot better next week
