Rex Ryan made headlines by saying he didn't know Dion Lewis' name earlier this week. He certainly knows Lewis now, but he's not willing to admit it.

The Patriots 5-foot-8, 195-pound back carried seven times for 40 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 40-32 win over the Bills. He also caught six passes for 98 yards on nine targets.

During his post-game press conference, the Bills coach was asked about his comments on Lewis earlier in the week. As soon as he processed the first few words of the question, he cut off the reporter.

"Oh that's the reason we lost," Ryan said sarcastically. "Go ahead. I still don't know his name. Next time run the ball. Next."

The Patriots ran the ball 15 times and dropped back to pass 61 times in the game. As the team's top pass-catching back, Lewis factored heavily into the game plan, and he hit 120 total yards for the second consecutive week.

Against the Steelers, Lewis ran 15 times for 69 yards and caught four passes for 51 yards. When asked about Lewis during a press conference in Buffalo last week, Ryan acted as though he didn't know who Lewis was.

"It's the kid that's playing quarterback," Ryan said. "That'll make it a lot easier to be a running back. So what, are you gonna play them in eight-man spacing? I don't think so.

"I don't care, put anybody back there. You'd do good there. They're decent backs in their own right, but I don't think we're going to focus on that kid. I can't even tell you the kid's name."

Yea but to not acknowledge him after the game is sort of a ridiculous move. Chances are Belichick saw the comments he made earlier in the week and just decided to shove Lewis down the Bills throats lol.

This loss for the Lions was harder to watch than last week. They're just not a good team I guess. Its crazy how the loss of Suh and Levy's injury can change the defense so drastically.

Can't wait to see this night game though. It should be a good one
