well i can understand him being very upset because he had to witness it live and its a game he paid to go see. however, i still think he and many of the eagles fans are over-reacting. chip has undoubtedly done a good job since he's been their head coach. in his first season, he won 10 games (and got to the playoffs). in his second season, he won 10 games.

during this last off-season period, he brought in HIS guys. he implemented HIS system. now obviously so far, it doesn't look like the moves he made are paying off. but it's just WEEK 2. i mean s---, did you see me jump off a bridge after the niner game? now if the eagles continue to play this poorly by say, week 4 or 5, i can understand the eagles fans frustration. but at this stage of the season, they're simply over-reacting in their frustration towards a head coach who has a good track record with the eagles

Yeah but Timmy it's not like they just played badly lol they played horrendously yesterday. They couldn't even block anyone yesterday lol. This is why we have mini camp, training camp, etc. it is completely unacceptable for a team to look that come the regular season. I mean the Cowboys didn't have their two best offensive players & 3 of their best defensive players & still Philly couldn't do anything lol. Chip has done alright in Philly but the second he started getting rid of guys & bringing in "his people" he set himself up for failure lol.

chop has done alright in philly? dude, 10 win seasons in the NFL is very good and certainly much better than "alright".

and whether he set himself up for failure by bringing in his guys is yet to be determined.

He's got them to the playoffs 1 out of 2 years. Who cares about them getting 10 wins last season, that means nothing when you still miss the playoffs. Not to mention they have yet to win a playoff game under Chip so yes, he's done "just alright."

if you think he's done "just alright" then you have some extremely high standards/expectations.

dude, winning (usually) takes time, it doesn't happen overnight. he's only been their head coach for 2 seasons, not 10 lolol

But I don't.... Lol what do you want me to say? He's done great? 1 playoff appearance in 2 years, 0 playoff wins, what about his resumè with the Eagles saids he's done anything more than alright? Jim Harbaugh taking over the 49ers & immediately taking them to 3 NFC Championships + a Super Bowl in his first 3 years, that's great.

In other news, Romo won't need surgery on his clavicle so that's good. Sticking with the 8 week time table.

i expect you to at least say he's done good, because he's clearly done better than "just alright" ESPECIALLY when you consider that chip came from COLLEGE football, which is a lot different from the pro's.

and your point about jim harbaugh doesn't hold much weight because that's clearly an outlier.

man enigma, with those kinda standards/expectations......you better learn how to be a verrrrrry patient fan

Do you really need to overemphasize EVERYTHING?

lol Kelly has been ok, but good? Come on. 2 years, no playoff wins and a clear step back this year.

I think you are just used to having zero expectations for your own team so 10 wins seems great.

nah, has nothing to do with the vikings. 10 win seasons in the NFL is undoubtedly good unless you have some extremely high expectations.

if you look throughout the NFL, you'll see that there are many teams who have never won ONE superbowl, let alone multiple like teams like the patriots and steelers. those teams are exceptions.

any realistic NFL fan understands that you could be waiting a looooong time before you witness your team win it all

This..... @TimmyT is acting like I'm calling Chip horrible or something & is trying to make me out as impatient lol. Jason Garrett had the Cowboys 8-8 for 3 seasons before we got to the playoffs, I know what it is to be patient lol. Chip really doesn't have much to show for his time in Philly. He's got them to the playoffs 1 out of 2 years, hasn't won a playoff game yet & this past off season he let go of huge key players in McCoy, Foles, Maclin (Jackson the year before) in order to bring in "his players" that fit his scheme. So far, that experiment/risk is looking disastrous. If Philly doesn't make the playoffs again this season, Chip's going to be in some trouble.

In other news, Brees is expected to miss some games with a shoulder injury as well. @KnobodyKnows take back what I said, we should beat the Saints if they don't have Brees lol

you keep saying he hasn't won a playoff game yet. you do realize he's ONLY been their head coach for 2 seasons, right? you do realize that winning a playoff game is a difficult task, not an easy one, right?

not only that, but to you, 2 straight 10 win seasons equals "just alright" lol

so yeah, we'll just agree to disagree

Jay Cutler missing at least 2 weeks with his strained hammy. Good for me, as I will be at the Raiders vs. Bears game in 2 weeks. Maybe it'll be the first ever Raiders game I've attended that we actually win. I have been to 7.
